We went in every night. Very mixed review. It's a extremely busy place with a fantastic selection of drinks. Service first night was good they even changed our drinks due to it been flat. Second time a bottle given to us half full but was changed immediately. The third time we waited at the bar over 5 mins the bar girl knew we had been waiting a while but still served people who approached the bar after us. In the end I had to make it clear we was getting served next. She was a rate rude mare putting it politely. She served my glass of wine with lipstick all over the glass so I asked her to change it and she pulled a face. She pulled us a pint n slammed it down so it splat all over me. Then when I handed money over she snatched it and then slammed my change down on the bar. I responded with eye contact with WOW,,,HOW RUDE, to which she said Wow n then said see ya stuck her finger up n walked off. We wa like omg lol did that...
Read moreUnsafe environment for anyone who gets isolated or separated from their group; staff, especially the bouncers target people like this and assault them, and I'm not talking about a clip on the eat I'm saying 4 bouncers kicking someone in the head, pepper spraying the face and using weapons.
If you look at trip advisor there are plenty of stories like this, mine is simple but honest- asked for a bottle of water, they tried to charge me 5 euros I declined and then a bouncer came and as he was taking me out a group of 4 in this dark room began attacking me with their hands, batons and pepper spray and then stamping on my head, it was only when these Scottish ladies intervened and practically saved my life.
If you're British or any kind of Western tourist just keep and eye out for your friends, Its obvious I'm not the first or will not be the last,...
Read moreThe western saloon was by far the best place to enjoy singing with the bands, dancing and the atmosphere was fantastic. It was more catered for the 30s onwards, so good tunes to dance to. I'm 50, and I was on my own, and this pub was great to just get involved, meet, and talk to people. It can get busy, so sometimes a wait for drinks is inevitable. They also have a huge space outside with a massive TV but no sound as the music is on all the time. It's the right mix of bands from 60s music to current . There is also a large bar outside with lots of seating. It's a great place, and I always found myself attracted there as all the other places just don't compare to it. The pub doesn't close till 4am, I believe, and the bands are on all day and night. Thanks for making my holiday...
