We initially struggled to find the hotel as we walked up from the train station and it is located on a corner. The staff we dealt with were very helpful. There is what looks like it could be a bar or breakfast room at the side of the reception but I never saw anyone in it and it wasn’t inviting to go and sit in it. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable but small. There was no hospitality tray but you can ask for a kettle and cups if you bring your own tea etc. there was no toiletries other than soap in the bathroom, no dressing gowns or slippers. There is hardly any room to hang your clothes as it is a rail next to the window. We like to have the news on in the back ground when we are in the room but unfortunately the English Channel didn’t work very well. I have given it 4 stars as it was very clean and modern, the staff were helpful and the location was very central to the beach and to the town. If I returned to Cadiz I would return to this hotel but would probably look at booking a room with a terrace and pool as it would have been relaxing after walking about all day. We liked Santa Maria beach better than Caleta and it was nearer. We recommend eating at Salicornia Restaurant which is only a 4 min walk away,...
Read moreWe stayed in the Dormos with our daughter and best friends. They accommodated us brilliantly and were very flexible with our last minute changes in travel arrangements meaning we arrived a night early. The quality of the rooms is fantastic, cleaned daily, which was a welcome surprise. Lovely decor too and the rooms with plunge pool are especially good. ||My only small suggestions would be the addition of a mirror in the bedrooms as well as the bathroom and a mite more storage space. More readily available coffee and water in the bar area would be fantastic. ||Generally though, the staff were brilliant and we would definitely stay there again. ||Suitable for wheelchair users with accessible ground floor rooms but there is also a lift too. Note that this may not be the best part of town for wheelchairs though as there is a short but relatively steep hill down to the main town. You can avoid this by going the long way...
Read moreThe location is very convenient. The old buildings has been beautifully renovated to turned into into a this hotel and the result is wonderful. They thought in every little detail to make sure the guests have what they need for a short stay. The price was reasonable for what you get. The service was really friendly from the receptionist. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the room is because whatever chemicals they use to clean to bathroom was way too strong and I had a hard time to deal with. But that is my personal thing not something that could affect your stay. I highly recommended this cute...
