The location is beautiful - lovely white umbrellas, sun-dappled, birds singing and the old tobacco factory next to it is definitely esthetically pleasing! I always have one of the pokes bowls when I come: super tasty, everything fresh and delicious. However this time the rice was cold and crunchy! Obviously had been in the fridge for a day or two. So, note to chefs (or whoever makes these decisions) rice is cheap, and not difficult to make, please serve it fresh and preferably still somewhat warm. They also used the wrong kind of rice today, normally poke rice is short grained and bit sticky - like sushi rice... not long grained crunchy and dry. Service is a mixed bag, when I complained about my rice she took it away politely no questions asked a brought me a new one (thank you!). And in general it was much easier than the regional norm to catch the servers' attention! One thing that can happen here is buskers come and play music at a horrific volume. What an awful welcome. Won't be back. Ignored when we arrived then a rude lady took out order. We asked about tapas and was abruptly told no, go next door. Wasn't offered the lunch menu which would have been nice. Ordered drinks and was spoken to very rudly by a male upon asking for the bill. Insisted cash only because the machine signal was apparently not great. Only had cards, so he stomped around and miraculously the card machine worked. Had he been polite we would have gone to a cash machine and had the lady been polite and welcoming, we would have had lunch and spent significantly more. Worst experience!! First of all we ordered a smash burger and a poke bowl, the smash burger was fine but the pokebowl was awful, dry rice, barely anything in it but a lot of red onion and instead of avocado i got guacemole which does not fit well in a poke bowl. I was eating rice with guacemole and red onion which was really bad and that for €14. Also the service was very bad. First we sat outside for a while a no one came so we decided to move inside. The women was not nice and she was arrogant, rolling her eyes the whole time. From all the people working there only one women looked sincerly nice.
