Good - the hotel is near the strip so ideal shops near by and restaurants Bad- beds are uncomfortable and thetwin beds had been put togther and we requested a double on our stay, asked to get more sunbeds out as there wasn’t many near the pool and got told no but there was plenty up on top of the hotel staff didn’t smile or speak English, had to pay a tourist tax as it was the first time I’ve heard you had to pay for it, said on their policies you can request a late check out and when I’ve asked it was very rude on the reply I got, my balcony when I go out I don’t see a view expect another hotel and the bins, we even had to put are drinks in the bath and fill it up with cold water as it doesn’t provide for a fridge and should provide on during the hot summer weather, when showering as well the water goes everywhere and leaves the floor soaking with water and having to use our clean towels to soak up the water from the floor and when even running bath the plug doesn’t even work and just empty as you finished running the bath. There was only 4 umbrellas in the pool area which isn’t enough for people and couldn’t get any shade at all. Even the menu is very overpriced and it just standard hotel food you can get. Also when going to the pool you not able to get a sun lounger due to people that do not stay at the hotel just stroll in and use the hotel facilities when you get people who actually pay money to be away and don’t even get to use the facilities. For breakfast was pretty standard but not much to pick from as it was the same stuff everyday and I got sick of it by day 3, the hot plates for breakfast only had the same 5 options everyday. On my second last day I requested a late checkout due to my flight was a late one and so I can get freshen up and that instead of sweating from the heat as it was 40 degrees, when I asked for a late check out it was a very rude reply and shouted NO at me and telling me they were fully booked but fair enough of being fully booked but there is a way of speaking to people and that not how to speak to me. When walking in the the hotel there is no air conditioning which we had to sit for 6 hours with our cases due to not having a room for our cases and we were sweating and disgusting for...
Read moreDisappointment is the only word I can use to describe my experience in this hotel... Sadly, after reading all of the 'good' reviews we decided to go for this hotel ( now I know that positive reviews came from those people, who left their towels on the loungers at 4-5am and never appeared till late afternoon, making others unable to use them ans the pool as well 😡, whilst hotel staff did NOTHING about it). We did not manage to even once in 10 days to use the pool as it was full of drunk people and no loungers available as guests left their towels and disappeared! Anyways... We arrived and the first impression was confusing, the standard of the room was much lower than supplied on the offer photos by the hotel. The walls seemed like the basement corridor, old style, everything yellow from aging... the towels were nowhere near standard, old and yellow... limited toilet roll regardless of the need and the number of guests per each room. Other guests seemed frustrated about the service too. The hotel applies the night time silence policy, which they never ensure their guests follow! The noise that we experienced during the night by drunk, ignorant and rude people was unbelievable.. the staff said there is nothing they can do about it, seriously?! We paid as much as others, so why would we not be able to rest and enjoy our holiday, but suffer instead? Every single night the noise was shocking, we never slept till 5am every night, which made us exhausted in the morning, so we had to go for the breakfast a bit later. And here comes another issue, tables were left uncleaned with nowhere for us to sit, no bread/rolls available, remainings of ham and no cheese left... Limited options too, all about 'english breakfast' but not actual variety of food. For the price we paid it wasn't worth it. Only two reception staff were actually welcoming, when asked other staff in the dining room for a sugar, bread etc they appeared unhappy. I would...
Read moreLet me save you some pain, we booked here for 9 nights.
The room doesn't have a mini fridge, at 25-30C+ you could really use one.
If you are a light sleeper, good luck having a good nights sleep:
Walls are super thin, you can hear people's conversations at a normal tone. The windows aren't of a good quality, so all the noise comes through (we were facing the road front side of the hotel, so that didn't help with noise)
The bathroom has NO ventilation or extraction of any kind. Also, there is no drain in the bathroom, and having a cheap shower curtain doesn't help, as you'll quickly come to realise you just created a "swimming pool" on the floor.
We asked for the bedsheets to be changed, only to be told that they are changed once every 4 days. Now, in all fairness after a bit of back and forth, they did change them.
The breakfast was shockingly bad, and I don't use the word shockingly often. We only went once for breakfast after that we ate somewhere else.
Not a standard, but you usually have a kettle/coffee and some complementary water, not here though, nothing of sort.
To top this all, the freaking light switch is in the middle of the FREAKING bed on the wall, basically under your pillow, you move at night, turn your pillow and what not, and the light comes on, next to the light switch, is also one of your sockets (one of two in the room, so good luck having something charging overnight🙄).
You only get one key card to the door, so if you want another one you have to pay €5 deposit (you will get it back), but nevertheless pretty messed up that you get 1 key for 2 people.
To get beach towels, we had to pay €5/towel (once off non refundable) + a €10 refundable deposit.
On the plus side:
A really nice beach is like 5 mins walk away, and a lot of nice restaurants we tried had good food indeed.
The safe is free to use.
Air-conditioning little loud, but works...
