Pros: nestled in a central location with main shopping streets, tourists attractions & restaurants within 5min walk. Great view of the fountain from your room. Modern and welcoming lobby with cafe and restaurant. Prime location. Quiet rooms. Good AC.
Cons: rooms require maintenance. Unable to open windows to get fresh air. No laundry options (need to go to Lock&smile 5min walk away). Carpet under bathroom door not sealed so water from bathroom gets onto carpet. This adds to the wet/mouldy stench when you walk in. Part of the bathroom door is water damaged. Bathrooms don’t have ventilation. Towels overused and feel like cardboard.
Spa: 15€ per person to use it for an hour. Nice atmosphere but honestly this was something we could do without. It’s just two pools both same temperature. There’s no jet-‘spa’ just two oversized taps. The water wasn’t that clean as you could see particles floating. Didn’t have much chlorine either. Whilst private, anyone can still walk in. The bathrooms didn’t even have locks so you’ll probably go to your room wet in order to get...
Read moreWhat a wonderful hotel. The location is perfect. Right smack in the centre of all the action. Multiple bustops all within 5 mins walk away, which brings to you many destinations such as the train station, La Alhambra, and Albicin, etc.
Service was also good, although it was nothing outstanding.
The room was good-sized, and the bathroom had two basins and a full screen partitioned shower area. Toiletries, disposable slippers, hair dryer, and mini fridge were all provided. Good soundproofing, too.
I could not have asked for more. It is one of the best hotels I've stayed at IMO, mainly because of its location and the convenience that comes with it.
Do note that the aie conditioning doesn't work during the winter season. Instead, you'd have to open the sliding windows to let the cool air...
Read moreConveniently located and easily accessible via public transportation, including both the bus and train stations. Several attractions are within walking distance, and there are bus stops on either side that connect to other parts of the town, including the iconic Alhambra. The reception staff were very friendly and promptly addressed all our questions. The room was cozy, featuring a comfortable bed, an ensuite bathroom, and the basic amenities needed for a pleasant stay. However, for a 4-star hotel, the room could have been slightly larger, with more amenities provided to meet higher expectations. The soundproofing was good. We had a...
