We stayed in apartment #1 for a week in February and really enjoyed it. It is nicely located in the old town, so it is only a few minutes walk to the town centre; 20 minutes walk to the beach. There are 3+ supermarkets within a 3 minute walk (we liked Maskom and Dia). There is also a buffet called El Delantal nearby where you can buy food to go. Also, many restaurants were nearby. Apartment 1 is equipped with a small kitchen with grill and microwave, cooking plate and dishes. There is also a washing machine, Toshiba air conditioning (which can also heat), TV and free wifi (about 30Mb). The house does not look very nice from the outside, but inside it is beautifully renovated and has a lift.

Wouldn't recommend it under any circumstances. The flat is new (photographs are reliable), it seems like they have renewed the whole interior recently...but they have gone too far into the "modern-flat" concept.

  1. Rooms had no doors, it is all one open big space. Furthermore the apartment has one double size bed, and a sofa (which can be converted into a bed). I had to sleep in the sofa-bed and was very uncomfortable (probably IKEA or something similar...but in my opinion the lowest quality furniture)
  2. Shower's door did not adjust properly, so water would come out of the cabin and flood the whole apartment.
  3. The toilet had no door!! Well in fact that it's not 100% true, you could improvise and use the shower's door to have a little privacy, but in the end it's rather uncomfortable...
  4. It seemed like they do not like big groups, as in my opinion the staff treated us more like common vandals rather than guests...

GOOD THINGS The apartament is in the center of Malaga, and its within walking distance of the historical center. That's the only positive thing I can think about...

I wish I could give a better review, but unfortunate it's not the case.

The apartment is newly renovated, but they chose style over common sense.

First, there is a huge open shaft right in the middle of the apartment which brings loads of light... including at night. So if you are planning to sleep but your neighbor decided to turn his lights on, your apartment will be illuminated as well. It's impossible to sleep without some sort of sleeping masks to block stray light.

Second, there is the terribly designed toilet with glass doors (so your partner can watch you taking a dump) and with no ventilation whatsoever, meaning all the smell from the toilet will stay in the apartment itself.

But that's not the worst part yet. Above all there is the noise. The apartment is not sound proof at all, which means that all street and neighbors noises will feel like it's indoors. I had to sleep with noise cancelling headphones every night.

It's a pity, because the place looks nice, but after one week of terrible nights of sleep, there is no other way to...
