Caterina Victoria by Stay Unique Apartments — Hotel in Málaga

So many problems with this apartment. Until they sort the significant issues, including their utter incompetence in replying to any message avoid at all costs. Rip off

The bathroom lock did not work and the door fully slid open so no privacy when going to the toilet or showering.

Shower tray had dirt sealant hanging off it. The shower tray was a large piece of stone which did not fit the spac and it rocked and banged back and forth as we moved in the shower. It felt unsafe.

The freezer compartment was completely frosted over with ice and no space to put anything in.

We attempted to clear the freezer and in doing so wet the tiles in the floor. We looked for a mop and found a mop bucket but no mop.

No iron or ironing board despite being told there would be one.

Front door bolts on the lock do not close. They are jammed making it feel unsecure.

Wine glasses were spotted and dirty and we had to wash them on arrival.

No bedding or towels provided for the third person.

No response to my email about being concerned about getting into the property because we were delayed. No response to any further messages I sent regarding the above problems.

We were asked to take our rubbish with us on departure but we’re not told where to take it. We were walking the streets...

The location is absolutely perfect! In the centre of the city, close to many bars, nightclubs, restaurants, shops, and beach.

The check-in process was very easy and hassle free.

The apartment was comfortable, spacious, and clean, although it lacks some storage space in the bathroom and the bedroom. We also found there to be not much hot water in the shower.

During our stay, we could not find the ironing  facilities, so we contacted the information number provided at check-in. But we found this service to be extremely unhelpful. The lady on the phone told us to email in detail what the issue was, and they would get back to us. So instead, after this frustrating phone call, we contacted the host Laura, who helped us immediately.

There are extra towels, washing lines, iron, ironing boards, and blankets in the pull-up compartment under the bed.

The apartment does not have a left luggage service to leave suitcases. But it's not a problem as we used the lockers that were recommended to us by Laura, just 1 minute walk from the apartment. They were great and easy to use.

Overall I would recommend this apartment, we really enjoyed our visit and the time we spent in the beautiful...

Para empezar ,señalar que no soy de los que suelen emitir reseñas frecuentemente por que pueden ser muy subjetivas y/o malintencionadas pero a veces ayudan en lo positivo y advierten de lo negativo. En éste caso mi reseña viene originada por mi estancia de dos noches 7-9-Marzo-2025 y sorpresa a parte de la ubicación y el entorno de los apartamentos fue que a las pocas horas de mi ckeking a las 21:00 coincidiendo con lluvias , las goteras empezaros a aflorar por el baño , salón y en el dormitorio cayéndonos encima de la cama. Situación esperpéntica a las 3:00 de la madrugada ,recogiendo agua hasta varias horas después y haciendo las llamadas pertinentes al whassap del residente ofrecido por el alojamiento, además de dejar constancia de fotos ,videos y llamadas también a Booking que a fin de cuentas fue el intermediario de nuestra contratación. en esta situación les emplazamos a que alguien se presentase a primera hora del día 8-Marzo en el alojamiento sin éxito. Fue a las 16:00 cuando nos pusimos en contacto de nuevo para que urgentemente tomasen cartas en el asunto ante la cual mandaron a un técnico para presenciar los daños ocasionados por la entrada de agua y a eso de las 20:00 del 8-Marzo nos realojaron en otro apartamento vacío de su propiedad en el mismo edificio por lo que se consumió la mitad de nuestra estancia en la ciudad preocupados de problemas que no nos correspondían y les aseguro que no era nada barato (las dos noches 265 €). Ante esa situación les pedimos daños y perjuicios compensatorios al menos por la mitad de la estancia y el daño ocasionado de tener que sacrificar nuestro tiempo que también tiene valor. Después de varias semanas y con intermediación de Booking ,veo que me asignan en mi cuenta de Booking un premio de 65 € a gastar en futuras contrataciones por el suceso en esta reserva. Premio?? si lo que ha ocurrido ha sido una situación totalmente nefasta de mantenimiento de instalaciones y de la gestión de problemas que puedan surgir. O acaso, ¿este abuso en los alojamiento tampoco cuentan con una garantía de uso y mantenimiento? La reseña no es de 0 * estrellas por que lo mínimo es 1* y la compartiré también con booking por la indefensión y lavada de manos para con el cliente.

Problemas a parte señalaré que si lo que buscas es tranquilidad y disfrutar de la ciudad , en estos apartamento al menos en fin de semana no pegarás ojo por los locales que están es su calle y que te plantees su precio por que esta a la par de cualquier habitación de hotel de categoría. Las llamadas telefónicas son una tortura ,directamente en ingles y tienes que identificar de que provincia del holding es tu llamada relativa al apartamento. Como positivo la ubicación totalmente céntrica y cerca de todo lo interesante del Casco Viejo pero la calidad de un alojamiento esta retratada por la capacidad de gestionar situaciones problemáticas que se puedan generar a...
