Forenna Hostel — Hotel in Palma

The hotel was really comfy to stay in and easy to find, the beds are memory foam and the interior was just what we liked and so clean but the rooms are so loud, you could hear people shower, snore and the noise traveled so well it woke us up multiple times of drunk people screaming and shouting but as there’s no reception there’s no one to complain to. ||||The fact there was no reception became quite an inconvenience when you wanted to find out what’s the best route into Palma as your located a good 40 mins away on the bus or where is the best bars or money exchange. There was no staff around at all. ||||If your a sole traveller I wouldn’t recommend as there’s no real chance to socialise in the hostel as the communal space is so small and you don’t really see other guests.||||The location was good for the beach but abit far away if you want to go into the main town and it’s all code operated to check in which is fine but the lockers took a while to get your...

Experiencia real de una pareja de 30 años, sin tener recomendaciones del lugar, nos animamos a reservar, buscábamos algo económico pero sin perder limpieza e higiene; lo encontramos. Nos preocupaba el echo de ser hostel y tener que baños compartidos, muy satisfecho en éste tema, ya que por piso tienen 3 baños, entonces está bastante distribuido el uso de las habitaciones respecto a la cantidad de baños, siempre estaban libres y no había que esperar, cosa que nos generaba miedo, tener que hacer filas o turnos para poder ingresar. La camas son cómodas, colchón y almohadas en muy buen estado, lo que permite descansar, cosa no menor. Dentro de la habitación hay una pileta la cual es muy práctica, siendo que los baños están fuera de la habitación (a muy pocos metros). Habitación con espejo, y secador de pelo, una plancha de ropa seria algo que podrían sumar, pero es un detalle. La ubicación del hostel es buena, muy cerca de la playa, con lugares para desayunos y comidas en cuestion de poca distancia, idem transporte público como bus. Algo que nos gustó y no es común, es que ofrecen el servicio de alquiler de lockers, el cual permite hacer el check out y dejar varias horas las mochilas/maletas dentro del hostel, para poder disfrutar del último día cuando el vuelo sale a la tarde/noche, sin necesidad de cargarlas por ahi y no disfrutar realmente el último dia. Tienen 3 tamaños de lockers y el costo varia dependiendo las horas que vayas a usarlo, pero es muy economico, nosotros usamos el locker intermedio (2 mochilas y 1 maleta carry on durante 6hs y costó 7 euros.)

Como único aspecto negativo, es que para hacer el check in hay que ir a otro hotel ubicado a 3 cuadras, y de forma digital rellenar unos datos, ahi te liberan la llave la cual al volver al hostel, te permite ingresar al establecimiento y a tu habitación. Podrían hacer el sistema de check in ahi mismo, pero es un detalle, nada grave. (solo para que lo tengan en cuenta si deciden alquilar con ellos)

Si, un resumen largo, pero cuando uno evalúa es bueno tener opiniones reales y que sumen a la elección.

Sin experiencias negativas, con varios puntos a favor, sin duda...

Brand-new and family-run Hostel with very supportive staff!

The Hostel is completely new and has a very clean and beautiful room with new furniture and common baths. Check-in works without problems. The hostel is just a few minutes to the beach and bus, which goes to Palma, thus superb location.

Marcos, one of the owners, was very supportive and very helpful throughout our whole stay. He even helped us, when we couldn't find a connection to the airport! We owe him a lot.

Although being in the party-area, the hostel is very quiet. The walls however are a bit thin.
