Got curious about this "rather new" place and based on the reviews I wanted to give it a go. During the last couple of days I've never really seen anyone inside the place but I didn't want this to stop me.
Checked out the menu in prior online and went there a couple of minutes after they had opened. The (Spanish?) waitress was giving the tables a final sweep & there have been minimum two Japanese staff befind the counter/in the kitchen. The interior looks super inviting - but as they only seem to have ceiling fans and everything made of wood it felt rather hot inside. Therefore, I opted for take-out.
The staff could have been a bit more engaging but you'd hope this differs when you opt to eat in. As my Spanish isn't the best they accommodated me in English. Their menu is a wide variety of sushi, as well as different starters and hot mains. I put in my order with them and was advised that my sushi would take approx 15min.
They seem to be mostly living of take-out and food deliveries as they had already been preparing orders when I got there. My order took a bit longer but that's alright. Had 3 different kind of rolls (8 rolls each) for a decent pricing of 20€ish. Especially the tekka/tuna makis were great. For the tempura fried ones I would have expected more batter and the whole roll to be a bit more deep-fried. Taste wise everything met or exceeded my expectations.
This will definitely remain a go-to for us, if we fancy sushi and we will try the hot food, as well.

Read moreI am sincerely shocked by the other reviews; have none of these people ever had actual fresh, high quality sushi? This is not even closer to either. Is it because I came on a Sunday? Did something happen since the last review that disrupted the supply chain? All I know is that the food was decidedly mediocre, the wait for the order was oddly long despite me being the only person there (should that have cued me in?) and the decor is cute but the restaurant is located in an area that I would have rather skipped. The disappointment from having chosen to drive out of my way here because of the great reviews is sharp. I feel sad that I spent my time...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I stayed for a week in Arenal, Mallorca. The first few restaurants we went to were complete disasters, really expensive and the food tasted quite bad. But this place was the exact opposite. The food is extremely delicious (especially gyoza with shrimps (langostino in the menu)), the prices are more than fair, and the service is amazing. I loved the atmosphere and interior of this place with posters and Japanese lanterns. I would also like to thank the waitress Rocio (with short pink hair and tattoos), who made us feel at home at this lovely place. She was so polite and kind to us....
