La Bella Vita — Restaurant in Palma

Actually that is the worst place we have visited in Can Pastilla. The restaurant looks good outside, however inside it is awful. Tables, chairs and carts are dirty. After our arrival we were suggested to take a seat at the table with one chair (we were three), however that was not a problem. The problem was, that all other chairs were dirty or broken (the waitress tried to give me a chair, which one has broken in her arms; after that she has put it on another table and told her college to fix it). So I have helped myself and have found one, which I could have used, however during the whole stay I have been afraid to fall. The waitress was not friendly at all. I have read some other comments, and I am not the first one, who had noticed that. We have been waiting for half an hour for our food. The restaurant was half empty (another strange thing was, that we were said that almost all tables are reserved, however no one was there even in an hour). The food is okay. However it was given very hot. There was no soap in the toilet. No internet connection inside. I could give this restaurant three stars and stay calm, but as I have already mentioned, I have read other comments… and I know beforehand, that I will be upset one more time by the owner of the restaurant. He responds to every comment (it is a good thing), but he is unable to do with critics. Should you have a look at the way he/she responds, you will find out that this person is very arrogant in responding to bad comments. In my mind, he does not have any permission to argue with clients and use personal insults. So, I am waiting for the respond to my comment, where I will be called with...

We walked to the restaurant and waited for somebody to tell us if there are any free tables. So a lady came to us and asked us if we want to sit in the outdoor seating or inside the reataurant we wanted to sit inside. She didn't walk us to a table so we were confused if we could choose. So we sat down and started looking through the menu. After deciding what to eat, we waited 10 minutes until somebody took our order. Our drinks came and she mistook my drink for another, she switched them. After we ordered (20:05) we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes until she noticed that our order got forgotten. We then got our food pretty fast. I ordered Spaghetti aglio e oglio pepperoncino and my mother ordered Tagliatelle alla bolognese, in both meals there wasn't enough salt. Mine wasn't spicy at all, tasted like spaghetti with oil. I then wanted to pour salt myself and that's when I saw the utterly damaged salt shaker (picture linked). The salt was poorly coming out. Vinos y postres La carta de vinos merece una mención especial, con una selección de vinos italianos que maridan a la perfección con los platos del menú. El personal está muy bien informado y siempre dispuesto a recomendar el mejor vino para complementar tu comida.

En cuanto a los postres, el tiramisu es sencillamente sublime, con capas ligeras y esponjosas que se deshacen en la boca. No te puedes perder el panna cotta con frutos rojos ni la tarta de limón, ambos postres son el cierre perfecto para una velada inolvidable.

Servicio y ambiente El personal de La Bella Vita es de lo más amable, atento y apasionado por la comida que sirven. El servicio es rápido, pero sin hacer que te sientas apresurado, y siempre con una sonrisa y una recomendación sincera. El restaurante, con su terraza con vistas al mar, crea un ambiente romántico ideal para cenas íntimas, aunque también es perfecto para compartir una velada agradable en familia o con amigos.

Precio La relación calidad-precio es excepcional. Aunque La Bella Vita podría considerarse un restaurante de gama media-alta, la calidad de los ingredientes y la atención a los detalles hacen que cada euro gastado valga la pena. Es un lugar al que no te importará volver una y otra vez.
