The aforementioned hotel is located 200-300 meters away from Can Pastilla beach (which is presumably the reason of the hotel’s name). We merely stayed for a couple of days.
Unfortunately, our room was not the best at all, but let’s commence with its positive sides: it has a balcony, a kitchen, a private bathroom as well as a tiny TV, everything was clean and well-functioning. The balcony was, however, quite dirty, and the chairs were yellowish. The bathtub and its shower were not comfortable at all: it couldn’t be moved that easily and we fruitlessly tried not to flood the floor every time. It wasn’t the best for us and for the janitor, I daresay… I saw no shampoo, only bathroom gel and two tiny bars of soap. The toilet flush was way too noisy - especially at night - which was already confirmed by other feedbacks. This could be bothering whilst sleeping.
The two beds were quite hard to sit on, we could even feel the springs.
We didn’t use the kitchen at all, hence we cannot say anything about it.
It’s a two-star hotel, and you have what you pay for. Simple as that.
Overall, I would carefully recommend it for a short stay due to its position and the fact that the neighbourhood is calm and peaceful.
However, you could easily find better hotels.
Its strategical position, however, as well as the quite friendly, welcoming staff, makes me write a higher feedback, as I tend to include every single aspect of...
Read moreI must say that after reading some of the negative comments, I wonder if we stayed in the same hotel? We stayed in Room 312, the room was partly renovated. The housekeeping staff ensured our room was cleaned daily, providing fresh towels and new bedding throughout our stay. The bathroom has a bathtub, it didn't pose any major inconvenience. Additionally, there was a small fridge in the room. Moreover, I must commend the kind hotel staff. When we encountered a minor issue with the gas station, they promptly offered us a phone to make the necessary calls. As for breakfast, it was served at the Amic Gala Hotel, which was a mere 150 meters away from Amic Can Pastilla. The breakfasts were delightful, with a wide selection of delicious food. In terms of parking, it's worth noting that parking around the hotel is available but at your own risk. However, the hotel also offers their free private parking option, located 500 meters away, as parking in Can Pastilla can be a challenge. We arrived earlier than expected, and the staff made every effort to accommodate us as soon as possible. In conclusion, based on our pleasant experience, I highly recommend this hotel to others seeking a comfortable and...
Read moreYou really get what you pay for with hotels; that being said, my friend and I just wanted to visit Majorca for ~2 days and as long as we had a place to sleep and shower, we didn’t mind the quality. The rooms have beds and lights and small fridges (you know, the essentials) and our room had a balcony.
The hotel doesn’t provide shampoo or conditioner; they only provide a bar of soap and a packet of shower gel.
Luggage storage is free and the hotel is next to/close to a couple of bus stops that get you into downtown Palma where more stuff is (one of the bus stops had a ticket station!). The hotel is within walking distance to the beach (even though it wasn’t a SUPER nice beach, but hey a beach is a beach) and lots of restaurants and shops. 6 min. bus to/from airport. Again you really get what you pay for. This hotel wasn’t AMAZING, but we are younger travelers who don’t really care about luxury/quality and don’t have tons of money to spend. Overall, it worked for us, but if you are looking for luxury, I would not book this because you will be...
