Der Laden gehört offenbar mit dem Riviera nebenan zusammen. Sind ogfenbar die gleichen Betreiber, die früher dort ein indisches Lokal betrieben. Alles super neu und stylisch ubd sicher die beste und neueste Toilette weit und breit! Service war - wie im Riviera sehr gut und freundlich - leider war das Essen nur zum Teil genießbar. Mein Junior hatte die erstaunliche Combo aus Pommes mit Spiegelei und Serano Schinken, die wirklich überraschend gut war. Die Tochter nur Pommes, welche an der Playa offenbar überall super sind. Habe nirgends kalte, fettige oder schlechte Pommes bekommen. Selbst geschnitten oder geschabt - wie audöf der Karte mehrfach erwähnt waren sie allerdings nicht. Die Enttäuschung waren der WOK mit Hühnerfleisch und die Nudelpaella. Beides war worklich völlig versalzen bzw in dem WOK - den ich mir völlig anders und deutlich frischer vorgestellt habe (selbst schuld.....) - war deutlich zu viel Soja Sosse. Das Ganze war wirklich kaum noch genießbar. Auf unseren Hinweis gab es eine Entschuldigung und fertig. Leider ist die Auswahl an der Playa zu gross als dass man nach solchen Enttäuschungen einen zweiten Versuch...

Teníamos una reserva con The Fork y, al llegar, nos sentaron de manera muy rápida y amable. El pedido de las bebidas se tomó enseguida, pero el camarero tardó algo más en venir a tomar la comanda de la comida, lo que alargó un poco la espera inicial. Una vez pedimos, los pimientos de Padrón llegaron en apenas 5 minutos: estaban en su punto, tiernos, bien asados y con un toque de sal perfecto, todo un acierto para abrir el apetito.

El plato principal fue una paella mixta. Llegó en unos 25 minutos, lo que nos pareció razonable para un plato recién preparado. De sabor estaba muy buena, con un arroz suelto, sabroso y con el punto de cocción adecuado. Sin embargo, echamos en falta un poco más de “relleno”, especialmente en lo que respecta al pollo y a las gambas, ya que la proporción era algo escasa en comparación con la cantidad de arroz.
