BULEZEN URBAN HOSTEL — Hotel in Pontevedra

This hostel accommodates 64 people but the management doesn't want to pay someone to work at the reception in the morning and at night. We were going out on a Saturday night and randomly the receptionist that happened to be there told us that "if she didn't mention before" which of course she didn't, the hostel had the entrance door shut from 2 to 6 am (no way to enter with the code) and that if we wanted to go out we had to stay clubbing for real, ortherwise we had to respect the curfew for the pilgrims to be able to sleep. It never happened in my life having a curfew in a hostel and taking the risk to be left out (what if she wasn't there when we left?). She said they sent and e-mail with the conditions, which is not true! If you want to make a hostel for pilgrims please specify that on your website and everywhere, so the people that come to Pontevedra for other reasons...

Happy with my stay. It does have more of a city hostel vibe, not like albergues, and there were a lot of other people besides pilgrims so I missed the whole camino vibe. It is in the very centre of the city though, so a good location if you want to explore. The rooms are pretty big with a lot of bunk beds but still offer some privacy with the curtains. The only thing I would mention is that the top bunk has no fence or anything, so I was a tiny bit scared of falling over while sleeping. You get bedsheets to make the bed and a towel. The bathrooms are pretty big and the showers have a lot of space. I enjoyed the terrace and the common room also. There is a laundry room and space on the terrace to wash and hang...

Al llegar a Bulezen Urban Hostel me dijeron que no es posible entrar al hostal entre las 2 y la 6 de la mañana porque es un hostal para peregrinos. Ni en su perfil de Booking ni en su página web especifica que sea un hostal de peregrinos. Y la información de que está cerrado el acceso al hostal de 2 a.m. a 6 a.m. está muy escondida, no es fácil de encontrar, tampoco lo mencionaron en los emails después de hacer la reserva. El acceso al hostal, su recepción y habitaciones es a través de dos tramos largos de escaleras flotantes, y no tiene ascensor. Barrera arquitectónica. El colchón y la almohada están forrados con plástico, por lo que no transpira, hace ruido al moverte y da calor durante la noche. Una luz de techo de la habitación permanece encendida toda la noche, lo que me incomodaba para conciliar el sueño. Y a las 8 a.m. se encienden automáticamente todas las luces de la habitación, sin opción a apagarlas. Parece un centro penitenciario. No hay mesa ni silla en la habitación para apoyar la maleta o mochila, y hay menos de 1 metro entre una litera y otra. Las taquillas de la habitación no funcionan con candado, sino con una clave de 4 números personalizada. Lo que no te dicen es que el código que pongas se registra automáticamente en su sistema informático. Por lo que sise te ocurre poner el pin del móvil, tienen tu pin... El personal del hostal, recepcionistas y limpiadoras, tiene acceso al pin. El código de entrada al edificio es el mismo número pero poniendo el tercer y cuarto número delante del primero y segundo. Reservé dos noches y pagué dos noches, pero sólo pasé la primera noche en el hostal. Tuve que improvisar un lugar donde pasar la segunda noche... Hay que hacer el check out a las 10 am. Pero no hay nadie en recepción, ni te atienden por teléfono, hasta las 12:00 del medio día. Sólo hay 3 duchas de mujeres para todo el hostal, y las puertas de las habitaciones estaban siempre abiertas, día y noche, incluso las que son sólo para mujeres. Es el primer hostal donde me...
