Rey Fernando Hostel — Hotel in Santiago de Compostela

The place is clean, staffs are friendly. But not well maintained, not feeling safe and too noisy. There is no window in the room that I stayed, but with a door to a small balcony, door lock is broken.

The hostel is at the 6/F of a commercial building, however you hear children and parents yelling from 7am till 11pm. Not knowing from the same floor or other floors, non stop of doors banging from 6am till 1 at midnight.

Not matter how tired you are, could not get a sleep at all, got shock because of the door banging 10 times in an hour .

We had a decent stay of a night at Rey Fernando. The staff helped with printing our boarding passes which made it convenient for us. The room and the adjoining bathroom was clean. I would not say its really centrally located coz it is at some distance from the cathedral. However, the train station is close by. The bus stop where we get buses to the airport is also close-by. Chose this Hotel for its location, price and parking for a motorcycle. Pretty much central for all the sights. Hosts were absolutely fantastic, extremely helpful regarding getting the bike put away and giving directions for sights etc. Hotel was very nice, quiet at night and looked pretty modern inside. room was a good size, very clean and tidy and as we were expecting.
