Highly recommend Cycling the Camino! The owner Alberto is incredibly responsive, friendly, and accommodating. We decided about a week out from the departure date to cycle the opposite direction from Santiago to Porto. So grateful that Alberto and the Cycling the Camino team were able to arrange the bikes/gears/pickup/drop off etc. for us as very few companies have bikes available (lessons learnt to book early next time). We had a super smooth ride and it was an amazing trip. The bikes were in mint condition. We had zero mechanical issues and luckily no punctures either. We dropped by the newly opened store in Santiago. I was wildly impressed with the establishment and setup. I gained so much confidence with the business to know every bike was carefully examined and serviced by the 'bike doctors' in the shop before they are handed to the clients. The rental price was also incredibly reasonable. The website is super easy to use for booking bikes and mange payments. you can also correspond via what’s app or email. Overall, Great value, efficient service, quality bikes. Can’t ask for more! Thank you!

We rented a gravel bike and a mountain e-bike from these guys and just finished our 8 day trip. The e-bike was quite heavy but allowed me to kick into eco (or higher) when I needed to keep up with my daughter who was on the gravel bike. We transferred our luggage through Top Santiago so we used the back rack for our daily pack. This worked great. The bell that came on the e-bike (gravel bike didn't have one) was super cheap and didn't work so I bought a 3 euro better one on the way - apparently that bell came with the bike. That is the only thing negative I have to say. We had them shipped to MRW in Porto since we were staying at an airbnb - this was great! They had basically assembled the bikes so we could just ride out of there. Tricky getting back to our airbnb but we headed straight down to the river where the bike trail is and that made it easy. Drop off was also very easy in Santiago - we took the bikes in and left. Highly recommend these guys! Get the jersey to commemorate your trip!

I rented a super nice gravelbike here. Communication in english was very good. Halfway the camino I decided I wanted to cycle the last part. I started walking from St. Jean and arranged on the way that my bike could be delivered in Leon on a pickup point. From there I cycled the last 330 kilometers to Santiago where I dropped off the bike at the store. The bike was very well maintained and cycled & shifted effortlessly. Only negative thing was that the gravelbike was a little bit too big for me (only 1.59 m tall), so that could be a point of improvement. I did talk about it with Alberto afterwards (he imediately noticed the bike was a bit big for me when I arrived (frame size S)). He told me that he will get some XS frames too for future smaller gravelers, they just started with the gravelbikes. For mountainbikes they do already have smaller sizes.

I rented a bike that was delivered to my hotel in Sarria, Spain. I biked alongside And in with my daughter, who was walking the Camino from France. Overall, an electric bike rental was a wonderful experience. The bike was delivered in advance to my hotel as requested. It had all the required elements, bike, saddlebags, charger, helmet and worked as advertised. Be advised, these are pedal assist bikes and do not have an independent boost function without peddaling. So, while you can make it up any hill, even with 40 pounds strapped to the back, you will be constantly having to shift and pedal. The bike was slightly too large for me, so I would recommend a slightly smaller version if you are 5 foot 8 inches or less. The rack on the back of the bike was critical for loading my backpack and strapping it down, so you want to make sure that there is a sturdy rack on the back of the bike. I wish there had been a way to rent the electric bike for less than seven days. Returning the bike on Saturday was complicated by the shop not being open, but Roberto was able to arrange to meet me for the drop off. Overall 4.7 out of 5, no one is perfect😀 I would do it again for sure - no better way to see the Spanish...
