Bungalows Sal y Mar — Hotel in Tías

We stayed in bungalow No3 and was delighted with it-It was roomy.bright.very clean and had everything we wanted .||The bungalow is situated in a small quiet and secluded complex with a splash pool and a larger pool it is accessed by gates that are locked at all times making the complex very secure and only accessible to residents) there is also a reception where you will find Francesca who is very helpful and friendly.||The complex is an 10 minute taxi ride from the airport which is great and only costs 10-15 euros ||It is close enough to the beach you can hear the waves breaking ( if the wind is blowing in the right direction ) you can also see and hear the planes coming and going from the airport || It is also close to the local Spar shop ( nothing worse than having to haul your shopping miles back to the apartment if you are self catering ) there are also other shops bars and restaurants a very short walk away and a few yards further and you are on the beach||The whole seafront is flat and paved and you can walk one way towards the bars and shops or along the coastal route (all paved) where you can walk out to the airport boundary (10 minute walk) and stand right under the flight path as the planes land and take off ||We had a great time at the Bungalows Sal y Mar they are very well located and we would highly recomenned them We would certainly stay...

Family 4 adults 2 children (4 & 14)||Very spacious bungalows, 2 bed rooms, also fold up bed and sofa...||Having just returned from a 4 week stay we found this complex to be perfect for our needs... 1 min walk to "the square" all shops and restaurants, 2 min walk to the beach.. the complex it self was excellent, fresh towels every second day, the pool area is cleaned most days, it's a gated complex so you need a key to access, however I did notice some of the guests didn't lock it after them, we met some lovely people whilst staying here. Nothing is too much trouble for Yessica the complex manager.||There is 2 washing machines that can be used by guests (€3) I found this brilliant as I came home with very little dirty clothes.||The tv can take a usb so you can bring your own movies to watch, it also had 3 English channels, although the reception can be poor at times.||We're already booked for...

The Apt. Is pretty nice and located in a quiet area close to Puerto Carmen, there is the pool which is nice and kept clean and the reception is friendly. Few issues: no oven and no washing machine (which cost 3€ to use and is commonal). The WiFi is available although a bit slow and discontinue.
