Fantastic Sushi Experience with Excellent Discounts Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Review: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Makitake Urban Sushi Shop Valencia, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. As a Google Guide, I strive to provide honest and accurate reviews, and I can confidently say that this place exceeded my expectations. We visited Makitake during the Summer season and took advantage of TheFork Summer discount, which offered an incredible 50% off the menu (excluding drinks). This discount made our dining experience even more delightful, as we could explore a variety of dishes without breaking the bank. The food at Makitake was simply outstanding. We started with the Ahiru bao, which was a delightful combination of boneless duck, cucumber, shitake mushrooms, and hoisin sauce. The flavors were well-balanced and the bao was perfectly steamed, creating a mouthwatering blend of textures. Next, we tried the Cesar Roll, a California roll with crispy chicken, parmesan cheese, lettuce, Caesar sauce, and a topping of Parmesan chips. The combination of ingredients was unique and delectable, and the crispy chicken added a delightful crunch to each bite. The Gyozas, filled with tender beef, were another highlight of our meal. They were perfectly pan-fried, giving them a delightful crispness while maintaining a juicy and flavorful interior. The accompanying sauce complemented the gyozas beautifully. For the main course, we savored the Yakisoba, a stir-fried noodle dish with spring onions, chicken, assorted vegetables, and Yakisoba sauce. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the blend of flavors and textures in this dish was truly satisfying. Lastly, we enjoyed the Teriyaki with free-range chicken, green beans, and sesame seeds served with a side of rice. The chicken was tender, and the teriyaki glaze had a delightful balance of sweetness and savory notes. The accompanying rice and vegetables completed the dish perfectly. The service at Makitake was impeccable throughout our visit. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making helpful recommendations based on our preferences. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting ambiance, making it a pleasant place to dine. If you're a sushi lover looking for a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend Makitake Urban Sushi Shop Valencia. With their exceptional food quality, generous discounts, and top-notch service, this restaurant deserves all the praise it receives. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of their enticing menu.

I went with a group of friends and most opted for the 'barra libre' paying €17.95 each. The food is very good. The service was a bit lacking. The 'barra libre' has many rules. If you have children or vegetarians in the group, it becomes very confusing. It is mandatory to order a drink and you have only one hour to eat. The impression I had is that they are suspicious if you're trying to take advantage of the 'barra libre.' Very strange. The environment is pleasant, the service is quick, and they have good beer options. Should be 5 if the Barra libre option was easier.

A generic tourist trap with bad quality products, cooked poorly. Tomorrow we will see if I have food poisioning...

They do not even know how to cook rice for sushi. Over cooked rice.

The noodles can be bought in consum and served with any stock cube broth and reach a better quality.

Rehydrated mushrooms that are rubbery and chewy.

They cut up langostinos for the noodles to save money. Noodles with shrimp is served with approximately 1.5 shrimps.

And they did not even add soya to the sushi...

This is my first ever 1 star review and I only leave it as I see absolutely no remdeeming aspect to this food. If I could give a zero then I would...
