Hotel Krishco (Pvt) LTD — Hotel in Colombo

We had a worst experience as we wanted to book the room one day before arrival. But when we called in order to reserve the room, the lady who answered the call requested us to call again in the night to reserve the room. However we did that.

Next day early morning at about 4am when we visited the hotel we couldn't just imagine that we were offered with a room that was not ready. When the room boy opened the door of the room, we experienced high smoking smell but immediately the room boy switched on the A/C. The washroom was also not clean.

After taking shower in order to have a good sleep, we unfolded the bedsheet and the result was too shocking for us. Because we found lots of old blood strains on the bed sheet. As we were too tired, we just kept the particular bed sheet over the cupboard and used the bedsheet which we brought from home. At about 6am I went and informed regarding this issue in a smooth way to the front office staff. They requested me to handover the bedsheet. After handing over they said sorry and immediately gave me new bedsheets.

However they said me that you would have informed us immediately, if not we would have cherged you for the damage. It was too annoying. Because i just want to take in to the hotel management that we are guests and we come to the hotel for different official purposes on urgent basis. House keeping and maintenance relies on yous and not on us. We don't have time to supervise your hotel functions. Hence kindly ignore these kind of mistakes in future and please do not offer these types of shamed services and bad experience...

I unfortunately had a highly unpleasant experience at this hotel and would strongly advise against booking a stay here.

Firstly, the cleanliness was absolutely unsatisfactory. The rooms and bathrooms were dirty, with clear signs of neglect throughout the hotel. Additionally, there was mold in the corners and along the ceiling, making it difficult to breathe properly.

The floors were filthy, leaving a foul smell in the room. The sink in the bathroom was decrepit and wobbled dangerously, making it hard to use. The windows in the toilets were constantly open, making the room cold and uncomfortable.

The beds were old and creaked with the slightest movement, and the air conditioning didn't work, making the nights unbearably hot. There were reptiles everywhere, and the staff seemed completely indifferent to the situation. The wall lamps didn't work, and there were loose wires hanging from the walls, which was extremely hazardous.

Moreover, the rooms were not soundproof, so you could hear everything from the neighboring rooms and the hallway. The doors were dilapidated, and the electrical outlets were hidden behind the beds, making them difficult to access.

Overall, this was a dreadful experience, and I can only recommend staying far away...

It is my worst experience I had , I got my client there on 26th of May 2022 , the reception guy behavior is too bad , doesn’t know what is mannerism , I booked the hotel for one of my client who came from India , I bought the dinner from outside since he requested, while I was entering inside the time was 11.45pm ( around ) , the reception guy asked me whether that am gonna stay there , I told him that I will move out after having the dinner , then after few min like less than 10min he rang the intercom and asking that weather am gonna stay if staying have to pay , I told him that we are having dinner after that I’ll be moving out , next 5min 2 guys came and knocked the door saying I have pay 500/= rupees only then we can allow meanwhile we are having our dinner those guys also saw it , no T & C shown me or informed me earlier, only if I stay there I have to pay , IS THAT THE MANNERISMS TO KNOCK THE DOOR OF A ROOM WHEN SOMEONE INSIDE???? JUST FOR 500/= , I RECOMMENDED MY CLIENT THIS HOTEL BUT BEHAVING SUCH KIND IS RIDICULOUS.... I FEEL SHAME BECAUSE OF THESE USELESS HOTEL MANAGEMENT , FIRST TRAIN THEM BY BASIC THINGS... like not to enter the room etc

NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE...
