My recent visit to the Elite Indian Restaurant was a mix of great flavors and a few unexpected disappointments. First off, the food was a delight – the cheese kottu, nasi goreng, and chicken noodles were flavorsome and satisfying. The cheese kottu, in particular, left a memorable taste, one that I'd love to return for.

The service was commendable too. The staff maintained a clean and pleasant environment, adding to the overall experience. However, my excitement was slightly tempered by the notably higher costs, primarily due to the additional charges. While the food prices were within reason, the charge for chili paste came as a surprise. Usually, this condiment is complimentary at most places, but here, it was priced considerably, especially considering we use it sparingly, not as a main dish. I had a terrible experience at Elite Indian Restaurant - Pettah compared to other branches. The hygiene was noticeably poor, making the entire atmosphere unappealing from the start.

We ordered Chicken Biryani, Singapore Fried Rice (Prawn & Chicken), Faluda, and a Chocolate Milkshake, and every dish was disappointing.

Singapore Fried Rice was so salty it was inedible. When we informed the staff, they insisted that it's "normally salty," even though we've had the same dish at the Wattala branch many times without an issue.

Chicken Biryani was extremely bland, and the fried chicken was overly oily and tasteless.

Faluda was overly sweet, making it hard to drink.

Chocolate Milkshake was just a foamy mix of milk and cocoa powder, not at all what we expected.

To make matters worse, when we refused to get the fried rice remade, they still made it again without our approval. When we asked for the bill, they included the dish and argued with us, saying they had prepared it again.

The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. The server was talking to someone at the reception, and while that person didn’t directly address us, he was yelling and speaking about us indirectly, which was very disrespectful.

Overall, this was a disgusting experience. Poor hygiene, terrible food, and horrible customer service. I would never visit this branch again! Avoid...

We were order at this restaurant on 4.12.2021. Was ordering 4 briyani. Deliver boy name Darushkanth. He never try to deliver the food. We contact him and ask to deliver the food, but he said that he is new to this job and couldn’t find the address and talked irresponsibility. If they work as deliver boy they should deliver however the food. If we were not at home, of course we can say that’s our fault. But we were at at home, we told him, that we can pick the food . But he didn’t response. It’s very worst service by this delivery boy. We ordered at the same restaurant before one week. They deliver to this same address. Why couldn’t he deliver .
