I only stayed in this city on the night of September 12, 2024, to rest after driving long hours in the car, since the next day I continued with a long trip. I don't speak German or French (only English and Spanish) and I didn't see it necessary either since I would be in Switzerland for a maximum of 10 hours. This way I wouldn't have to interact with many people, only those from the hotel. However, I got lost entering the parking lot of this hotel and I sent my mother to ask the reception, it was then that the receptionist at the ibis Budget treated her with disdain and told her that he was not going to speak with her in Spanish. . , he didn't even try to communicate kindly through a translator on the cell phone he had in his hands. I was waiting in the car outside but due to the delay I went down to ask what was happening and he also treated me with the same attitude because it was not clear to me which parking lot the ibis Budget was. My mom observed that he was very friendly and patient with other people, so maybe he just doesn't like the Spanish language or Latin Americans. Thank God, the next day we were attended to by the 2 kind and friendly receptionists. It's a shame as I have stayed in other ibis hotels in Madrid, Milan and Athens, all the receptionists were very friendly and tried to help us if we didn't speak the local language. I speak English but my mother doesn't, and all the previous receptionists have been very kind to her. Disappointed for this ibis. I leave the only Pic I took because I wanted to leave the faster I could from that...

Neutral/didn't bother me because to be expected in a 1 star budget: no hairdryer in room in room no tea/coffee facilities in room low quality towels and tp. Not as noisy as expected. Still some noise. We were on 5th. No safe in room but safe boxes available on site. no fridge in room
: -Twin room really too small. I'm used to small rooms. Stayed in ibis budget in Fribourg and it was better. There was max 60cm in front of bed. On one side about 60 and the other o but partly open to corridor. Widow didn't open. In such a small room it got very stuffy PowerPoint only available in 1 corner very badly designed room and particularly the shower. Too big for the space and with gaps that let water pass. Also no separate bathroom. Toilet in a cupboard and shower in main room but with the possibility to draw a certain. 1 tiny desk space with 1 chair (in a room for 2) no storage space except a tint rail to hang 3 items up. no hand towel
Summary: Do not use if you plan to work in room, travel with 2 people for same room, staying for more than 2 nights. Otherwise its simple, small but comfortable....
Read moreWe stayed at Ibis Budget hotel for 2 nights with our 4-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, during this stay, no matter how careful we were, our daughter hit her head on the top bunk four times. The last time she hit it very hard and her head was severely swollen. ||No precautions were taken on the part of the upper bunk beds where heads could hit. It could have been covered with sponge or a different precaution could have been taken. We hurriedly asked for ice from the reception, but they said there was no ice! They told us to ask for ice from the next hotel, we rushed to ask for ice from the other hotel, they should have helped us with this. ||Also, yes, we made a reservation knowing that the rooms of Ibis are small, but after a certain age, the human body cannot handle such a small room, there is not even room to walk or put things in the room. The sink is in the room, next to the bed. The toilet does not feel private. ||There is also no water or tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Thin, towel-like things that don't look much like towels were placed for the family of three. There is no head towel, hand towel or hair dryer. ||Next time, I would prefer to pay a little more and stay in a hotel that provides even a little comfort. It was very annoying and sad when my daughter hit her head on the top bunk...
