We hosted a farewell dinner with 16 guests. While the starters, drinks, and ambiance were pleasant, the overall experience was rather disappointing. The main courses were underwhelming—bland and served with stale bread. Dishes labeled as "chimichurri" lacked the actual "chimichurri" sauce, the rest of the food was really basic and not really worth the money. The only redeeming part was the potato and sweet potato fries as well as the cheesecake. Sadly, none of us really enjoyed our meals. Service was extremely disappointing. Despite confirming our group size, seating was only arranged for 15 people, leaving the table cramped and uncomfortable, and I would like to note, we as the guests had to arrange ourselves, with absolutely no help from the staff. We had to exchange an order due to an allergy, which was an error on our side, however, instead of a helpful response the senior staff member rudely responded that she will
serve everyone else in the restaurant first
. Her tip was to simply remove the ingredient from the plate, when again, this was an allergy. They are not a very big restaurant, with seemingly enough staff, so they should really step up and try to attend to their guests properly. We are paying a lot of money for such bad service and inadequate food quality. Overall, the lack of care in both food and service made for a rather disappointing evening. We won’t... Read moreI want to express my disappointment regarding my recent dining experience at your restaurant during Sunday brunch. I had made a reservation with high hopes of enjoying a relaxing meal with my partner, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.
Upon arrival, we were seated at a table at the back of the restaurant, exposed to direct sunlight and it was scorching hot outside. When we requested a more comfortable table with shade, the staff member in charge of reservations dismissively refused and walked away without offering alternatives.
After seeking assistance from a more accommodating staff member, we were told that all other tables were reserved, despite the presence of numerous vacant tables with no people waiting to occupy them. This also contradicted our initial expectations, as we were not given the opportunity to choose our table during the reservation process.
The lack of courtesy and respect shown by the first staff member was disappointing and marred our overall experience. We understand that brunch service can be busy, but we were left feeling unwelcome and disheartened by this encounter. As infrequent diners who prioritize memorable experiences, this incident left a lasting...
Read moreI had a terrible experience at La Manufacture today at lunch. Although I have always recommended this place to my friends and colleagues, the service I received today was far below any acceptable standard in the hospitality industry.
The waitress dropped ketchup right next to me and splattered it all over my dress. Apart from a brief “I’m sorry,” nothing else was done. I was not offered even a small gesture of goodwill — no partial compensation, no complimentary coffee, dessert, or drink as an apology. To make matters worse, the bill still included the extra ketchup that had been spilled on me.
I was expecting some proactive action from the management to address the mistake, but absolutely nothing followed. As a result, I had to rush home to wash my dress and cancel all my plans for the day — and I still don’t know whether the stains will come out.
Accidents can happen to anyone, and I understand that the waitress seemed like a young trainee. However, what really shocked me was the lack of any managerial effort to make things right. This left me with a very negative impression of a place I used to hold in...
