The Restaurant itself is nothing great, is small, and fills up quickly. Would have given 5 stars, but The lady should know what to say and what not to. She acts like she's your strict grandmother. Ignore her !! Have made it 1 star. A glass of tap water costs 4.50. Same cost as a cold drink or a beer. This is even worse than those little water bottles we get in kiosks that cost 5chf. Not going here again. If at all, Do a takeaway.

Als ich versuchte, mein Handy an der Steckdose aufzuladen, sagte sie sofort wütend: „Geh zurück ins Hotel und lade es auf.“ Ich denke, bei Kunden kann man einfach sagen „es könnte andere Kunden stören“ statt „nein nein“ zu schreien (sie hat sich immer noch beschwert, selbst nachdem ich das Ladekabel weggesteckt hatte) Diese Kellnerin lächelt immer, wenn sie mit Weißen zu tun hat, und fragt ständig: „Ist das in Ordnung?“ „Kann ich Ihnen helfen?“ Sie grüßte mich nicht, und ich reichte ihr den leeren Teller, aber sie bedankte sich nicht. Ich denke, sie braucht mehr Training in Manieren und Erziehung. Leider sind bei einem solchen Essen und Service keine guten Bewertungen und Tipps möglich!!! 你自己德语说得那个鸟样，德国人都听不懂你的鸟语。还歧视说中文的…🥺脸呢

Pekingente das Original. Wenn man in Basel echte Pekingente geniessen möchte, gibts nur eine Adresse, das FUTO. Der zuvorkommende Service durch die Gastgeberin persönlich und ihre fleissige und höfliche Unterstützerin wirkt einlanden. Das Essen ist eine Wucht. Wie für Pekingente üblich, gibt es die knusprige Haut zur Vorspeise. Danach empfehle ich die restliche Ente nach Szechuan-Art zu nehmen. Wir waren zu 4 und alle freuen wir uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

Restaurant doesn't look great, however the food is fantastic. We ordered the sweet and sour soup for starters, soup was amazing, served hot, flavourful, well balanced. Fried rice was fragrant and tasteful. Lady who served us was incredibly nice. Service is good. We also asked her for her recommendation for meat items, she recommended the szechuan pork. Simply delicious. Highly recommended. The food is very nice, however it is pricey. Do not order water. The bottle of Evian cost us 12.5 francs ! Cost more than...

We came to the Futo to celebrate a Birthday and had two Peking ducks as well as a la carte and all the things were delicious.

The Peking duck is homemade as well as the pancakes and all things that come with it.

The starters were great and the two dishes we had, chicken Szechuan und with cashewnuts, were also very tasty.

The owners are very friendly and helpful.
