Hon Chou Hotel — Hotel in Taipei

Hotel is located in a very convenient and accessible location at ximending. Near to exit 6 of ximen station and a couple of bus stops along the main road. Near to a family mart and the famous ruyi sunny cake shop. Hotel rooms are small with limited walking space. Maybe just nice to open a medium sized luggage with some space to manovere around. A very compact room but clean and comfortable with simple and modern furnishings in the room. TV not able to watch local channels and only able to access YouTube. Clean and fresh towels were provided and a hair dryer as well. Hotel also provides hot, cold water, ice cubes complimentary coffee and tea on the ground level. Hotel has lifts. The main con is that if you have an inconsiderate visitor occupying the room next to you and blasting his music it can get loud as the sound proofing is weak and I had to bang at the walls to hint to him to lower down the volume. overall I would say it is a good and nice location to stay in with comfortable room if you don't mind the small floor area. It’s a renovated hotel with the reasonable price during the week for its location location location. Compact single room comfy bedding with the concrete wall except the old wooden door so mind your own risk in case of late outing coming back guests in the middle of the night. Close the bathroom door in case of the piping system functioning proofs. Free laundry free coffee free hot water in the common area. Check in only after 5pm so it could be rented for two hours resting room upon request. 😉 Friendly front desk....

Good location. Staffs are helpful and polite. I got basically all the necessary things in my room (air-con, shampoo, shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels, tissue and toilet paper, little fridge, a double bed with pillow) The room I stayed was not so big and it was clean, and I heard the staff said this hotel just finished renovation in the end of 2023.
