Making a review here for the English speakers (tourists) specifically! We booked in advance via OpenTable and it was a good call - you may be waiting a while otherwise. You’ve got 90 minutes to eat and we found it to be plenty of time, with some light breaks toward the end of our slot.

A key point I’d also make is that the online menu and QR ordering system is all in Mandarin. HOWEVER, if you ask, an English-speaking staff member will accommodate you. They handed us an English menu and ordered for us off a tablet. I’ve uploaded photos of the English menu to this review for those wanting to check what’s on offer in advance.

As a veggie, I was a little intimidated looking at the menu, but the selection from the buffet was terrific. Fresh vegetables, tofu and a wide enough range of mushrooms to make you feel perfectly comfy. As was the same for the veggie hotpot that I ordered, with a rich and flavourful broth that I was deeply grateful for. Make sure you get instant noodles, they soak up the broth wonderfully! As expected, a small but solid selection of sauce components as well. I opted for garlic, soy sauce and chilli - it did exactly what I hoped it would!

For my partner, who got a clam and chicken soup base, with a combo order of chicken and beef, she deeply enjoyed her meal. Again, a flavourful broth and a very filling experience on the whole. We ended our meal with a bowl each of peanut ice cream (of which there’s two additional ice cream options, plus toppings), which was delicious and a great way to end a filling meal.

Between us, we spent about $900. Well worth it, a great hot pot experience in a seemingly trendy part of Taipei.

P.S: Don’t forget you can control the hot pot boil...

I had a double meal set of beef and pork slices (Step 1 : choose a main dish), spicy chicken soup (Step 2, choose a soup base), and prince noodles (Step 3: choose a side dish).

In addition, the drink bar, ice cream (soft serve), rice, and the hot pot salad bar were all unlimited. There were also some condiments you could use to make your meal even better, but I did not.

Both of the beef and pork were juicy, spicy and delicious. The delectable spicy chicken broth actually went so well with beef slices, and rice too.

The noodles cooked in the spicy chicken soup were the best of the best, which was not too spicy but fairly salty.

In addition, the ingredients from the salad bar I took all tasted great, especially the golden fish balls. The crystal dumpling had glutinous and resilient texture outside and juicy minced meat inside.

The ice cream (soft serve) tasted sweet and delicious. It got even better with the black sugar syrup and other toppings.

In conclusion, I’d not eaten hot pot for years, but this meal brought me back to my childhood days eating hot pot with my parents. I came and cooked the hot pot on my own for the first time in my life. I was scared if I would be sprinkled by the water from boiling but it didn’t happen at all. The price was moderate and the atmosphere was relishing and lively. Overall it’s definitely a...

We hit up this epic hot pot spot as our sixth foodie stop on our Taipei weekend adventure! 🐓✨ Stepping out from the hotel, we saw a long line, but thanks to our reservation, we breezed right to our table—seriously, book ahead if you can! 🔥😎

From the get-go, it was pure hot pot heaven: fragrant chicken broth bubbling away, endless fresh veggies, mushrooms, fish cakes, tofu, noodles, and meats—total feast mode! 🥬🍄🍲 Every time the soup ran low, they’d come refill it with a smile. No joke, this was THE best hot pot I’ve ever had. 💯🙌

And those sauce toppings? Next-level. Chopped green onion, garlic, chili, and that magic chicken oil—so fresh, mixing them made dipping perfection. 🌶️🧄🧅 Every bite was a flavor party, but it never felt heavy, just deliciously addictive. Magic hot pot powers! 🪄🤤

The soft serve ice cream between bites? Total game-changer—so refreshing, the perfect break before diving back in for more. 🍦🤍 It was a family meal where “full” didn’t mean “stuffed”—more like happy and energized. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦⚡

Big thanks for showing us how hot pot should be done! Would come back in a heartbeat for another legendary...
