I stumbled upon this cozy little coffee shop by chance a few weeks ago and I'm so glad I did! It's located along a scenic river sidewalk away from the noise of the streets. It's the perfect hidden gem for anyone who appreciates quality coffee, cute dogs, and a cozy, natural atmosphere.

The male barista (owner?) was incredibly welcoming and helped me understand the menu since I can only speak English. I had the german cream earl grey tea and citrus cake which paired perfectly together. I've never had such a great cup of earl grey tea before! The music playlist is also excellent for the environment-- it's mellow and calming, which makes you want to open up a book and unwind. The decor made me feel like I was in a fairy-tail with all of the interesting art and tapestry, warm lights and a plethora of live plants.

Also, I just want to mention that I saw the owner chase after a customer in the rain who had accidentally left something behind. It warmed my heart!

Overall I cannot recommend this shop enough. The next time I am in Taiwan, I will be making a trip back to Zhongli just to relax here again. If you have the opportunity, please...
