One of my favorite hotels to date! 👇 📍 Paje Beach Apartments & Hotel, Zanzibar 🇹🇿 Besides the great price of ~$100/night (sometimes less!!), here’s why you should save this hotel to your list: 🥥 $2.50 ice cold fresh coconuts, you need at least 1 per day!! 🥞 amazing free breakfast! Fresh made pancakes, eggs, avo toast, literally so good 😊 the BEST staff! We made friends with so many of that staff members & were on a first name basis with half of them before we left 🚙 Transportation - they made getting from the airport to our hotel so easy 🏝 beach front views of one of the prettiest beaches in Zanzibar 💙 amazing pool - this is really necessary on the east coast of Zanzi as the water retreats SO far out that the ocean’s not swimmable at low tide! Tag in the comments who you think would LOVE to visit this hotel! Save this post for details on how to spend a week in Zanzibar! 👇 Zanzi has the most beautiful beaches of anywhere I’ve been! But you should know it’s not a small island. It can take hours to get from one town to another - so you’ll need to plan which beaches you want to visit. I’d recommend splitting time between two: ✈️ you’ll likely fly into Dar es Salaam, then land at the ZNZ airport 🚗 get a car transfer from the airport to a hotel in Paje 🌴 Spend 3 days in Paje - we stayed at Paje Apartments & Hotel and it was amazing! Make sure you pick a hotel with a pool because the water recedes at low tide so far away you can’t even reasonably walk out to 🚗 get a car transfer to Nungwi 🏖 Spend 3 days in Nungwi - the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen in the world 🐠 day trip to Mnemba Island, looks like a scene out of a movie! 🚗 car transfer to Stone Town 🪨 spend 1-2 days in Stone Town, wandering the markets and make sure to take a walking tour!
