Zanzicrown Hotel — Hotel in Unguja

This hotel is incredibly good. Recommend everyone to go to this hotel. It's not only affordable, you get incredibly good service from both Elena and her staff. To begin with, the room we stay in has very good AC but the best of all is that it is always clinically clean. Have traveled and stayed in many hotels but none that is as cleaned as well like this hotel. Breakfast is what I always crave, a nutritious fruit plate, you get to choose how you want your eggs cooked with good African bread and toast. The breakfast is incredibly quickly compared from other places in Zanzibar. The staff is always available if needed. I also appreciate how the hotel is located, close to the beach which also has a beach club with sunbeds at a good price if you stay at the Zanzicrown hotel. You never have to think about having access to a pool, this when you live near the sea which is light blue and only that is like swimming in a pool. We stayed 6 days here and have really enjoyed the experience with the staff, rooms, location etc. We booked a room without an a/c but on arrival, Elena told us we had the option to use the air conditioner that was installed in the room for €10/day which was a life saver. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. We also enjoyed the different hang out areas that were on the property and the small pool was also nice to enjoy in the high sun. Breakfast was always delicious: a fruit plate (mango, pineapple, banana, watermelon, avocado), a freshly baked cake-of-the-day, eggs (prepared how you like), toast, pancakes. There are also some good restaurants in close proximity (dodoki cafe, Aluna beach, and fish market local) which we enjoyed several times during our visit. Even the other restaurants (the corner, passion and thyme) were in walking distance.
