The rooms are modern but thr furniture us horribly uncomfortable. The sofa in the room is a weird design on an angle and it's not comfortable at all. There's a kitchenette with a full size fridge, a microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, 1 pot and 1 frying pan  some crockery, a combination washing machine dryer, cutlery and there's a small table with 2 chairs in the room. There's a distinctive lack of power sockets or places to charge your devices. The Wi-Fi is ok when it works better drops out all the time. There is a medium-sized Smart TV  with hardly any English speaking channels, and you cannot put a USB and watch it through these TVs. Even the engineering staff couldn't work it out The bathrooms a very small and tight, and there's a handheld shower Rose and an overhead rainfall shower head. The water pressure is reasonable. There is a steep stairway up to the bedroom Loft, and again in the design fault there is no handrail for safety, and there is no lighting in the stairwell which is very dark at night and this is a safety risk. The upstairs Loft bedroom is very tight for space, it's very difficult to try and walk around the bed as there is no space, however there is a cupboard and bathrobes. The bed is comfortable. On site there is a gymnasium and an outdoor small swimming pool with a few sun lounges for customers. The staff here are very friendly. Considering the number of design flaws and safety issues, it's ok for a couple of nights, but there are definitely much better properties available.

I booked this hotel reassured that it was built in 2022 so very new and surely not damaged by the recent earthquake. However I should have checked the reviews or asked directly. My heart dropped when the (hot and stuffy) elevator doors opened to our floor. Walls cracked everywhere. Repairs undergoing with the dust and smell that goes with it. I was absolutely horrified. After arriving at the crack of dawn from a long haul overnight uncomfortable flight with jet lag and only wanting a nice pleasant nap, this was depressing. No way I could sleep a wink there. We immediately asked to cancel our reservation and had to hurriedly book somewhere else (so fun doing that with last minute prices and jet lag with 2 kids!). To be fair the staff were helpful in doing that and I recommend them for giving us the refund without problems. I feel bad for them that they have to deal with being the face of that when it’s obviously just company policy to let bookings go ahead when clearly they should shut down the hotel and repair it before any further bookings. There are cracks on every floor!

Pleasantly modern rooms, decent quality facilities, and nice restaurant and bar options in-building. Beware the in-apartment stairs if you are in any way impaired - they are steep and the steps narrow. If you can’t negotiate the stairs. You’re stuck downstairs with the oddly uncomfortable sofa. Housekeeping is a bit laggy - sometimes I’d go out for hours, setting the “please service” sign and the room would not be serviced, even though the staff were hovering around the floor when I exited (and sometimes still doing so when I returned). I guess we all need time to scroll our socials 😝 I was also charged for a broken glass, and it was never replaced (within weeks!) even though I requested it multiple times. I guess Ramada is pro “Two boys one glass”. The pool is lovely, but oddly positioned in front of the building where everyone walks by. Not so encouraging, but maybe that’s the idea? Little things, but they detract from what could otherwise be an excellent experience.

The reception staff at Ramada is exceptional—truly helpful and accommodating. We visited for a holiday, and on the day we checked in, the room initially assigned to us wasn’t up to par. We shared our concerns with the reception team, and they immediately addressed the issue by offering us a better room, which we greatly appreciated.

However, I must say the breakfast buffet is a complete disappointment and not worth the money. The attitude of the buffet staff, particularly one lady, is appalling—unprofessional and downright unpleasant. It’s hard to understand what kind of superiority she assumes, but her demeanor is far from hospitable.

The worst part is their buffet management. Once an item runs out, it’s gone—there are no refills. The lack of variety and repetition of the same dull options every day only adds to the frustration. I strongly advise against opting for their breakfast. Instead, take a short walk outside and enjoy breakfast at a local café where you’ll find better food, friendlier service, and genuine hospitality.

While most aspects of the hotel are commendable, the poor attitude of the restaurant staff and the subpar buffet system tarnish the overall experience and diminish the hotel’s otherwise good reputation.

If you’re running a 4-star hotel, it’s essential to provide proper hospitality training to your staff. This is a tourist destination, and it’s crucial to understand that poor staff behaviour can drive guests away. With so many other hotel options available, people expect better service when they choose to spend their money.

At the very least, guests deserve respectful and courteous treatment from the staff—not the kind of unprofessional attitude we experienced (by your...

Location was a bit far from the city centre but only a couple mins walk from on nut station. There is a huge lotus super mart (with a food court inside) and a shopping mall beside the station with some street food stalls that operate mostly in the evening. The room is very spacious with high ceilings and large windows with a city view. The toilet is pretty spacious with all the toiletries you would need and the heater had temperature control for you to set so it always stayed at the temperature that you preferred. There is Netflix and YouTube on the tv. The small kitchenette was sufficient but strangely did not have a scissors or any serrated knifes when I needed to cut open things. Unfortunately, the microwave was dirty when I opened it. The washing machine has a drying function which was very useful. They topped up 2 bottles of water and free coffee daily and made the room around 11am (including washing the dishes). The bed was comfortable and there are 2 aircon units. One for the living area and one for the loft where the bed is. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to help my friend find bus timings and locations. The only thing that could be improved is that when I returned to the hotel later than 11pm, the lights at the lobby level m were shut off (not sure what time they usually do) but we needed to head there to get the lift up to our rooms. Overall, I really enjoyed the space and it felt so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave. Trip.com had a really good deal on this space and if there was such a deal again, 10/10 would...
