PESTO Pasta and Espresso Osteria — Restaurant in Bang Chak Subdistrict

Unfortunately this was the wrong place to choose for my final night in bangkok, the wine at 350 baht a glass had an offer of 2 for the price of one but the glass was effectively half a glass!! The bruschetta for starters was OK. Sadly things went downhill from there as I ordered the lasagna, which was probably the worst lasagna I have ever tasted. In fact I don't know how they have the ordacity to call it lasagna. It was simply a few layers of not very nice pasta with a beef sauce surrounding it on a plate. Needless to say I couldn't finish it!! When I ask to speak to the manager the waitress did not understand so I did not pursue that. Hardly surprising the restaurant was empty given the exorbitant cost of the poor...

So this small restaurant has much to offer with the personal attention to guests from when we arrived to the time we left, the food was just exquisite and above all freshly prepared from scratch, we got waited on by the manager, head chef and headwaiter whom were all very delightful to see us and others around us just enjoy a fabulous evening, one thing is that when you get there for dinner please order the bruschetta it is just devine as you wait for your main, that's just my opinion but yeah. And if you do call ahead with specific beverage choices it will be specifically sourced for you within reason. This will be our continued dinner date every night...

มาทานร้านนี้ครั้งแรก เนื่องจากเห็น ads ขึ้นในเฟสบุ๊คบ่อยๆ + ใกล้บ้าน พอมีโอกาสเลยมาทาน ร้านหาไม่ยาก เดินจาก BTS อ่อนนุชไม่ไกลมาก สามารถลง BTS บางจากแล้วเดินมาก็ได้ ร้านตั้งอยู่ระหว่าง 2 สถานีนี้ หรือขับรถมาก็มีที่จอดรถเหมือนกัน

ร้านตั้งอยู่ชั้นล่าง lobby ของ รร รามาด้า ติดกับสุขุมวิท 87 ร้านไม่ใหญ่ แต่บรรยากาศดีอยู่ ศุกร์-เสาร์ มีดนตรีแจ๊สเล่นให้ฟัง 19.00-21.00 น. ส่วนตัว น้องๆเล่นดี แต่เสียงลำโพงดังไปหน่อย พนักงานบริการดี แต่ไม่ค่อยนำเสนอโปรโมชั่นเท่าไหร่ ต้องทวงถาม ถึงบอกว่ามีโปร ราคาอาหารยังไม่รวม service 10% กับ vat 7% ราคาค่อนข้างสูง แต่รสชาติดี จองแพคผ่าน hungry hub คุ้มกว่า ตอนไปกิน ลืมดู เลยจ่ายแบบเต็มๆไป 😅 สั่งอาหารมา 3 อย่าง + โค้ก 1 แก้ว จ่ายไป 1,306.47 บาท เทียบกับซื้อผ่าน hungry hub 4 จาน + เครื่องดื่ม 2 แก้ว (เมนูเหมือนกัน) ราคาแค่ 990 บาทเอง 🥲

อาหารที่สั่งดังนี้: พิซซ่า (มีขนาดเดียว แบบ 6 ชิ้น) สามารถสั่ง 2 หน้าใน 1 ถาดได้ (อันนี้ทางร้านก็ไม่แนะนำ เราต้องถามเองว่าสั่ง 2 หน้าได้ไหม) ทางร้านจะคิดราคาที่แพงสุด เราสั่งหน้า four cheese กับ Prosciutto and Wild Rocket รสชาติดีทั้งคู่ อร่อยทั้งคู่ แม้ว่าเย็นแล้วก็ยังอร่อย เชียร์ให้สั่งพิซซ่ากิน

สปาเก็ตตี้ เราสั่ง Fettuccine Cream Mushroom and Italian Sausage เสิร์ฟมาตอนร้อนอร่อยมาก ครีมมี่ดี ชอบ แต่พอเย็นแล้ว จะเริ่มเลี่ยน แนะนำกินให้หมดตั้งแต่มาเสิร์ฟ เห็ดแชมปิญองเยอะ ไส้กรอกอิตาเลี่ยนไม่เยอะมาก เส้นเฟตูอร่อย สมกับที่โฆษณาเรื่องเส้น แนะนำสั่งสปาเกตตีกินน้าาา

ลาซาญ่าเนื้อ จัดพรีเซนต์สวย รสชาติทั่วไป ส่วนตัวคิดว่าถ้าเนื้อสัตว์เยอะกว่านี้หน่อย น่าจะอร่อยกว่า เราว่าแป้งเยอะเกินไป พอกินแล้ว ไม่เจอเนื้อสัตว์เลย พยายามเขี่ยกินให้หมด เพราะเสียดายตังค์...
