Most importantly, it's called a bed and breakfast, but they don't do breakfast. I think they might have once upon a time, but not anymore. A change of name/description is needed!! It's misleading. |On the whole, it's a beautiful place and the staff are amazing, but it misses the mark. It's about a ten minute walk to the old city which doesn't sound like much, but the road is super busy and no pavements. There are no kettles in the room. There is a pot of instant coffee and hot water you can use downstairs and tiny cups - you have to give CPR to the hot water machine. The shower is terrible. It's handheld, which I'm used to, but also the pressure is constantly changing. If you want a relaxing shower after a long day, this is not for you. The TV is not an appropriate size for the size of the room. It's postage stamp small. I'm not someone who spends much time watching the TV, but again after a busy day, it helps me to unwind and relax. |Positives are the size of the room, cleanliness and friendly staff.|Personally I wouldn't stay again and would find somewhere within the old city. I chose this place as it looks beautiful, but as they say, beauty is only skin deep. I feel like some small changes could really improve customer experience. First of all, change the name or do breakfast. It's a really bad first impression. To arrive and find out after you've already booked and paid for the room...
Read morePros : The view from the window of mine was great. A big tree just right in front of my window, with birds chirping, wind blowing, sounds of leaves and quiet neighborhood. I really like the relaxing atmosphere there. The living room on the first ground is lovely and feel like home.
Cleanliness is average.
7-eleven and laundry shop near by.
Cons : -The staffs seems like they're willing to help when you asked for help but they're unable to help you with tourists attraction guides or advise any other information. They will not provide hospitality like other hotels, no greetings. Staffs are more like house maids than a hotel receptionists. I'm not saying they are bad, I think they are just lack of hotel receptionists training and lack of tourist's guides information studies. You to self-help everything beside the accomodation. Most of the time no ones at the counter.
There is no room for luggage storage. You can only leave your luggage anywhere at the living room and no ones is looking after the luggages for you.
Though the ne of the hotel includes the word "breakfast", there was nothing to do...
Read moreI recently stayed at Si Phum Heritage Hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, everything felt smooth, welcoming, and thoughtfully arranged. The hotel has a charming, peaceful vibe, perfectly blending traditional Thai character with modern comforts.
The room was cozy, clean, and beautifully designed — I could feel the attention to detail in everything from the decor to the amenities. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready with a smile and willing to assist with anything I needed during my stay. It really felt like they cared.
Location-wise, it couldn’t be better — tucked within Chiang Mai’s old city, close to the square canal, yet still peaceful enough for a restful stay. Cafés, markets, and major landmarks were just a short walk away.
Overall, I’m really happy with my stay. Si Phum Heritage offers true value, heart, and a beautiful home-like feeling. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, comfortable place...
