Best Western Ratchada Hotel — Hotel in Din Daeng Subdistrict

Decided to stay here instead of something near Sukhumvit this time to try something new. This budget hotel is new but basics such as water pressure and temperature in the shower is not steady so Grohe or not it doesn’t matter. The TV is not big enough and the TV system and wifi system sucks, been calling them everyday to make the TV work and you have to log in everyday to get the free wifi.

Fixtures like the towel rack in the bathroom already wobbly, and absolutely hate builders who make wide basins paired with short faucet spouts so that there is not enough space to wash your hands. The problem is the dimensions of the washroom basin is off, it is too deep to lean into to brush your teeth.

There is a large fridge, microwave and basin for the “studio kitchen” but no soap, utensils or bowl/dishes. They don’t provide any tissues outside either only inside the bathroom. And the side table lights are too bright.

The hotel is deep inside Ratcha Soi 3 and is surrounded by shopping malls, grocery stores, street food etc. It will take about 15 mins to walk out to the metro. Also it’s about 20+ mins to walk to Jodd Fair.

All in all - if you want a budget new place to stay it’s ok the rooms are big, but the walls are thin, the build is not so quality so probably it will get old pretty quick. Was woken up in the middle of the night by noisy neighbours.

The pool was not working when we arrived, it looks nice. Breakfast nothing exciting can skip.

The staff are friendly and polite and get stuff done pretty quickly.

If you want even more budget at 1/2 the price there is a new more local place called The Neuf...

I recently stayed at BEST WESTERN RATCHADA HOTEL in Bangkok (322/433 Ratchadaphisek 3) and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with modern amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the outstanding service from the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel like a valued guest.

The staff at the front desk was especially helpful, providing excellent recommendations for local dining and attractions. The housekeeping team also deserves special mention for their attention to detail in keeping the room spotless. Every interaction I had with the staff, was met with professionalism, proactiveness, polite and genuine kindness. I highly recommend this great hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch place to stay. The combination of excellent service, beautiful accommodations, and a prime location made my visit unforgettable. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip!

Stayed 4 nights at the Best Western Rachada. The hotel is located in a small lane in Rachada where you will find a lot of street foods, eateries, convenient stores and local restaurants. It is within a short 10 minutes walk to the Phra Ram 9 Subway station which can go to Sukhumvit (change to BTS at Asoke to Siam and other places). It is also within walking distance to 2 major shopping mall Fortune Town and Central Rama 9.||The hotel is modern in concept and it has a small restaurant and a pool. The pool is located on the 2nd floor overlooking the neighbourhood also, the glass panel which you can peep into the lobby vice versa.||The room is huge and functional. A good shower room, a small kitchenette area comes with Kettle, Sink, Fridge and a Microwave. The bed is very comfortable and the AC is cold and powerful. Love the room, simple and nice.||The breakfast perhaps is the highlight of my trip. The staff are attentive, ready to serve and the buffet changes everyday. The chef and serving staff are quick to replenish the food, clear the soil and make the space available for the next guests.
