Sizzler Central Rama 9 — Restaurant in Huai Khwang Subdistrict

I recently visited Sizzler and had a mixed, but overall enjoyable experience. The concept is quite appealing: you choose a main dish from the menu, and with it comes free access to a generous salad bar. The salad bar was honestly the highlight for me — it offers a huge variety of fresh salads, fruits, toppings, and dressings, as well as other sides like pasta salads or even small snacks. There’s also a soup station with a couple of options and a soft-serve ice cream machine, which adds a fun and casual touch to the meal.

As for the main course, it was average at best — not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. It felt like the focus was more on quantity and variety rather than standout flavor or presentation. However, I really appreciated the cleanliness and layout of the restaurant, and the salad bar was very well maintained and regularly restocked.

One thing I’d really love to see in the future: a “salad bar only” option. Honestly, the salad bar alone could easily make a complete and satisfying meal. I would definitely return if this option were available — and perhaps even more frequently.

As a regular customer at Sizzler branches and for takeaways, I have consistently enjoyed their offerings. However, my recent experience at the Central Rama 9 branch left me somewhat disappointed, especially with the salad bar. It seems to have changed, lacking some of the variety and freshness that I remember.

The garlic toast, a signature favorite, has also been inconsistent. Sometimes it's rich and buttery, with just the right amount of garlic, and other times it feels too thin in flavor and texture. Despite this, the main dishes, particularly the meat options, continue to be well-prepared and satisfying.

If you're a fan of Sizzler like I am, this location might still be worth a visit for the main courses, but the salad bar might not meet your expectations if you're used to their usual standard. I hope to see improvements in...

5 senior citizens ( combined age over 350 years ) were enjoying lunch. Sizzler was fully seated due since it was the last day of promotion on Friday 28th March. Then , the earth quake struck .. Needless to say we were nonplussed, grabbing chairs and tables ( all of us thought we were having strokes / faintings / recurrent panic attacks ) .... Your staffs were magnificent : they sprung into action at the realisation of the situation. They quickly , urgently ushered us down the emergency stairs, leading the way to the ground floor , seeking undamaged exits. Please know that your staff displayed concern , acted in accordance with emergency drill to get your customers to safety. You can be very proud of them. When I feel more confident , I will return to the scene of the incident to pay my bill. A big heartful THANK YOU...
