Lanta Happy Hill Resort — Hotel in Ko Lanta Yai

I rarely review accommodation but when I do it’s because the service has been amazing. We stayed at Happy Hill for 3 nights on our honeymoon. The rooms are very spacious, very clean and the beds are comfortable. There is air con and a mosquito net above the bed. We were upgraded from the standard however I’m sure all rooms are lovely. |Ying who works at Happy Hill is wonderful. She was so helpful with information, booking trips and allows you to rent a scooter for only 200baht per day. I really can’t say enough about how lovely Ying and this accommodation was. It is in a good, peaceful location right next to relax beach. Long beach is a short walk to the north and Diamond cliff a short ride to the south. I’d recommend a scooter in Lanta as there’s lots to see all over, or get a Tuk Tuk.|Finally breakfast is amazing and is only 100baht! We had a great stay here but unfortunately I cannot feel as amazed as other guests. First off the two young girls are some of the kindest hosts I've ever met and really go above and beyond. The bungalows are immersed in plants with a small terrace outside of each one, inside clean and quite simple traditional Thai furniture. The rooms were very spacious but I felt as if they could have been done a little better in terms of the layout (the room with the fridge didn't make much sense to open and close the door each time).||Aircon and WiFi great. Breakfast 100 baht each with good options and a scooter within 30 seconds of our arrival.||After our stay we slept in another bungalow very close for the same price which was an apartment with much more comfort and detail which makes me feel that the price is a little too much compared to all the places we've stayed in Thailand (and Ko lanta).||We are traveling with a baby and really appreciate these small details and comforts but I repeat we had a great stay and would...

We had the superior double room with balcony for 6 days. It was easy the best accommodation in our entire 5 weeks vacation in Thailand. Everything was perfect. The room was amazing, clean, a small kitchen, big bathroom, very good AC the balcony was the best part about the room with a nice view in the woods and a wooden table with two comfortable chairs. All the employees were just super friendly and caring, my favourite was the gardener, always smiling with all his heart, greeting us, you can see that he loves his work.
