The Tiny Cafe — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

It's the PEOPLE who make the place! After many years in the restaurant business, I have learned why people return again and again. In this case, it's PAT. He is a local guy who learned his English on the mean streets of Koh Lanta and yet somehow speaks like a refined gentleman from the Isles. He and his young bride are just starting out and doing it right. He makes a mean latte with proper Italian roast beans. Get down here and support this young entrepreneur!

Located in front of the minimart at the entrance to Lazy Days bungalow from the main road.

It's easily one of the best coffee and matcha latte on the island, at very affordable price! Ice coffee at 45b, hot coffee 35b. Latte or cappuccino, same same price. Matcha latte is made from real tea leaves, not powder.

The place also sells chicken, beef and eggs burgers. Chicken / Beef burger 89 baht, Egg burger is 59 baht. Extra 20 baht for cheese.

They also sell sandwich too.

This little minimart/ cafe is a gem! Mostly for takeaway, but they have a few seats if you want to hang out. I stopped by every day during my month on the Ko Lanta for the Thai iced tea or a cappuccino.

The owners are so lovely—Pat knows his coffee and offers two types of beans and roasts. Always a great chat and an even better drink....
