First of all~ We thought it was the most affordable resort we can find in Koh Samed but it turns out that when we rode our motor around the island we saw beautiful and affordable resort that is way better than malibu. 1.Environment is cute but it was not well maintained…it looks old. And the location is very deep inside and you’ll have to carry your luggage’s and walk a long path just to get there. The ocean around it is not so clear comparing to other beaches. 2.The rooms is just below average as i said there are better rooms with the same price. There are tons of mosquitoes in the room. The bed sheets are not places properly. The shower is so weak…it took us 1hr js to take a bath. And the rooms looks dark and damped. But overall it’s livable. 3.Breakfast is average. No comment on that one. It’s not bad. 4.The only thing i can think about that is good are the staffs….they did their best and welcomed us and it’s really nice. Service is the only good thing there.
So overall i don’t really recommend staying here because with the same price you can get better rooms. We stayed for 2 nights and we didn’t feel like we are on a beach island vacation it’s more like a killing mosquitoes and trying to survive the room camp. Btw i got rashes and flea bite all over my body after i slept on their beds😭😭❌ Spend your money wisely go on a wonderful vacation. (if the owner sees this please try to improve i don’t mean bad but wish you all the goods) Koh Samed Malibu🙅♂️🙅♂️🙅♂️
(btw pools are also dirty) the photo looks nice because i tried my best to take nice photos but in reality its not that way…don’t be fooled by the pictures. Please...

Malibu Samed Resort is the ultimate chill spot for a beach getaway! Just 10 meters from a vibrant beach bar, you’re on a stunning beach with powdery white sand and crystal-clear water. Another 10 meters in the other direction, and you’ve got a mini-mart for all your essentials. Seriously, what more could you want?
The vibe here is pure perfection—great music plays all day, setting the mood for lounging or sipping drinks. The Buffet Beer keeps the good times flowing, and the Buffet Moo Kata (Thai BBQ) is a mouthwatering feast you won’t forget. Oh, and the free kayaks? Absolute game-changer! Paddling out on the calm, clear waters was a highlight, and it’s included with your stay.
Boats drop you off and pick you up right at the beach, making island-hopping super convenient. The accommodation is solid for a 3-star resort—clean, comfy, and just right for a laid-back escape. Want to explore more of Koh Samed? Rent a motorbike from a nearby shop (just a short walk) and cruise around with ease.
The only small downside is the bar can get lively in the evenings, but it just adds to the fun vibe. Malibu Samed Resort nails the beach life—great food, free kayaks, and everything you need steps away. I’m already dreaming of my next...
Read moreThe house itself was okay. But the neighbors house had a lot of problems with the sewage system that was clogged on a daily basis. The environment is very dirty and full of dumped garbage. Especially at the back of the resort where the locals live and on the beaches of Koh Samet. The swimming pool itself was not used by anyone due to the ants walking around there. The food was okay, but don't expect a good meal as it was all very cold and barely anything left after 9AM. The resort staff barely speaks English, but even translating to Thai through Google didn't helped. So we decided to eat somewhere else on Koh Samet instead of at the resort. We also had a lot of trouble from other tourists such as a Chinese group who behaved...
