Samed Port View เสม็ด พอร์ท วิว — Hotel in Ko Samet

Well I don’t know what to say. Upon arrival I came to an empty reception and there wasn’t much info or help to get anywhere. The employee that showed up really didn’t provide any useful service and the attitude was very bad. If I had read the reviews before I came here I might not have picked this hotel cause all things other reviewers write is true for sure. Worst bed in Thailand the last 15 years for me and I see that people over 1 year ago complained about the same. For Christ sake CHANGE the beds how much can that cost ?. You can see on the picture how much it goes down just by laying in it for 2 minutes and it stays that way. I would say that the rest of the room is fine and also a very nice bathroom. Aircondition, outlets and hot water in shower all working perfectly. And the location is in my opinion the main reason to pick this hotel. Some of the employees should work on their attitude towards tourists but hey it’s easy to act like a prick when you know the tourist will keep coming to Koh Samet. On my day of departure I got a mail from Agoda that my booking was cancelled even though I stayed here as I booked. So it’s going to be exiting to see if they double charge me now. Seriously man what is going on here Regarding your childish answer to my review I didn’t at all mention any check in problems if you read it again. The fact that you can’t take critique and answer me the way you do says a lot. I’m just happy that I’m a level 10 google guide so my review will be seen a lot. I booked a room cost 1200 baht. I was put in a big room with the view of Nadan Pier. The room is huge and nice. However, I met the owner later. She said her staff put me in a wrong room. My room shouldn’t have window. But she let me stay in that room without extra charge. So I think I was lucky. I could’ve ended up in small room. I’d avoid this place - the rooms look nice on arrival but the beds are totally wrecked, worn out so don’t expect a good night sleep.
