Talay Bar — Restaurant in Ko Samet

This restaurant is on the far end of the beach and it has a chill vibe as a result. My wife and I really enjoyed it. I loved the mackerel, although my wife found it a bit salty. We both loved the baked shrimp and the stir fried cauliflower. They had a really lovely singer / guitar player going on the Tuesday night that we visited. It's a really relaxed place compared to the rest of the beach. Still though, they also have a fire show. Prices are good, probably on the low end for places on the beach. Fair prices + nice singer + chill vibes + fire show = 5 stars 😀. Also they have the goodest of good boys who may come visit you and not even beg for food...

Best place on Sai Kaew beach. Great food, great atmosphere, great staff. If you enjoy Thai culture and food, ignore the other garish places and go here for a good time and great food at reasonable prices. Poi fire show, better than the other places and a welcoming and warm attitude. Went to Winkks before this place, it looked fancy but got bad service and expensive drinks. As always the authentic Thai option turned out to be the best....

One of the best and funniest experiences we had during our weekend on Samed Island. Our waiter P. greeted us with a smile and surprisingly moved us to the beach front with our own sun chairs, table and parasol because of the colliding music between the bars. Took the time to talk to us too. Their own signature drinks were impressive!
