For what I paid for my room I can't ask for anything more. The staff were all friendly and nice and the place in general was clean. Staff come in every day to clean your room but if your a late sleeper due to a late night they even cleaned my room in the afternoon so there doesn't seem to be a set time to vacate your room. A tip as well, to be helpful for the cleaners if your in your room and your curtains are drawn and you don't want to be disturbed just leave your shoes/sandals on the welcome matt (inside). As the doors are large glass doors the cleaners can see you're still in there so they won't disturb you.
Your rooms are great for privacy and far better than a standard hotel room (in my opinion). There's no security or reception to walk through so you can literally access the place from the front on the main road or from the bottom from the beach.
When I was in my room the A/C worked perfectly, cold enough to shiver or even warm enough to sit comfortably in what ever clothes you chose to wear. I didn't actually spend alot of time in my room as I was always out but when I slept in my room I never heard any passing cars from the main road or anything that disturbed me. The beds are very firm so if you like a soft bed then you may want to ask if they have rooms with a soft mattress. I stayed in C03 but luckily I actually like a firm bed so I had no issues with my sleep.
The reception can get anything you ask from taxis, excursions to extra towels and they're always willing to help. There's laundries literally next door so I just dropped my laundry off and picked it up the next day which at the time of this writing was 50thb per Kg.
The food at our hotel was very nice, I'd of happily ate there every day but as it's a holiday I went out to alot of different restaurants. Apparently I could of gotten food delivered to my room but I never tried that, I just ate my food down at the beach where their tables and chairs are.
They've got their own massage ladies by the pool over looking the beach and the ones I tried were very experienced and did a great job.
Overall I was very satisfied and would stay...
Read moreBlue Turtle on Ko Samui is a great retreat away from the hustle and bustle – the perfect place to unwind for families with children and anyone looking for peace and relaxation. Despite its tranquil setting, you can reach Chaweng quickly if you want to explore the vibrant side of the island.
The resort is a green oasis, filled with beautiful flowers and trees, creating a paradise-like atmosphere with direct beach access. The pool, including a dedicated children’s area, was where my two daughters spent most of their time – an absolute highlight for families.
The villas are modern, beautifully designed, and well-equipped for families. Everything works smoothly, from air conditioning to showers and toilets, which is not always a given in some places. The service is outstanding – from check-in to room cleaning, the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.
However, the true highlight for me was the restaurant and bar, which even includes a children’s play area. The food quality is excellent, from breakfast to dinner, and the drinks are delicious and well-made – all at very fair prices. The atmosphere is relaxed, free from the typical mass tourism and party crowds that can be found elsewhere on Ko Samui.
A special mention goes to the waitstaff, especially P Mod and Micro, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional.
The only minor drawback is the lack of a dining area directly on the beach due to space limitations. If this were possible, it would be absolutely perfect. However, this is hardly an issue since there is a neighboring restaurant offering beachfront dining options.
All in all, an amazing experience – highly recommended! Thank you Xavier and team for the...
Read moreBeautiful little resort and very clean. The rooms are all within a 30 second walk to the (small) pool which is beach front. The portion of ocean right in front is not the best as there is a lot of seaweed and some coral, but if you walk 40 meters to your right there is a path of white sand out past the seaweed. The location is in a more quiet part of Chaweng (in the smaller part of Chaweng and not the main beach). This part of the beach also has lots more seaweed (not just this hotel, but this entire stretch of beach) It’s about a 15-20 min walk to Central Samui (mall and night market area). The staff are amazing and they can get you some great deals on excursions. There is a fire show nightly at the beach front restaurant beside this hotel and there is a 7-11 right across the street as well as a pharmacy and several Thai massage places all within a 1 min walk of the hotel.
If you want to be in the busy part of Chaweng this isn’t the place for you, but if you want serenity and a beautiful little boutique hotel this is a great place.
Very close to the hospital and very family friendly.
If you’re booking online remember that paying at the hotel (like most places in Thailand) they have a fee to pay by credit. If you’re using an app maybe...
