The Hidden Gem Poshtel Koh Tao — Hotel in Ko Tao

Hidden gem is an apt name lol as this place is a little hard to find since the Google maps location is wrong, just walk down two shops more and you'll see the circular sign. The room was really lovely and modern made me feel right at home and there were so many amenties like a microwave and fridge, light up mirror, smart tv and led lights. The bed was so comfy too. So so cosy I wish we could have stayed here longer. Location is so great 3 mins away from pier and late check out at 12pm was so nice and relaxing. I don't think the photos on booking.com do this place justice.

Check in is a little confusing, we showed up after our ferry arrived and spent 15 mins looking for a front desk. Turns out you have to message the owner and she will send her staff over, and to be fair she was there within 10 mins. This wasn't explained on booking.com I felt a little bad I later learnt that the staff finish at 5pm and go home for the day so I made her go out of her way. Not the end of the world though the owner was quick to respond and fix this after I messaged her so no problem just writing this so...

A nice place to stay, with ideal location for the ferries and cafes/restaurants. Plenty of space to open two suitcases on the floor too. Really good room for the price! It seems brand new so the rooms/furnishings are immaculate. Our TV had not been set up yet and the hot water was not working in the shower but the owner of the accom sent people over to fix these asap (the water was then warmer but not hot). The owner is helpful and good responses on WhatsApp. The place is difficult to find as the Google pin is a little further up the road but the photos on the listing helped us figure out what was...

Loved my stay here! My room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Good A/c and tv has netflix. Lovely shower and good water pressure. The location is great, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and 1 min walk to the ferry. The lady working there was very helpful, when she saw me leaving to do laundry she offered to sort it for me and had it back to my room 3 hours later....
