I am from india. I traveled for vacation to Thailand. I arrived on 20th sept 2019 with my 2 friends.First I visited Phuket then went to krabi. We Booked Krabi city View hotel for 3 days. On last day incident happened In our room sliding window was not proper. We went to Ao Nang in morning same day we returned By 3pm we entered in room window was little bit open. I tried to close it it falls down and broken due to improper fittings. Then after some discussion with hotel staff they accepted that fault was in window only. In evening one lady came saying i m owner of this hotel and was asking for 3500 Bhat for broken window we denied and showing the proof (Video)which we have. she denied and was not ready to listen anything and saying pay or else i will call police. We were ok with police because that was not our fault. Police came and investigated said to lady its not their fault. U try to settle by urself. Then she started shouting and abusing us. After some time she said pay 2000 bhat will close it or else u cant go india u have to go through immigration and police stations. We agreed to pay 2000 Bhat(because we dont want to miss our flight) but she abused lot of us. Throws Pen and Keys on table towarfs Us .which was Very Bad behaviour with Guests. She Tried to Tear My Passport Used very dirty words about India which is not tolerable. We argued with her because of abusing us as well as our respectful nation. We borrow bikes on rent from her for 24 hours paid money for that. She took it back. We used only for 6/7 hours. It was a very pathetic experience about Thailand. Only she did this with us but it will impact on whole Thailand as we as Thai people. Worst experience ever in life. We will not tolerate our nations insult from anybody. Okay, that's all. Now's time for the bad things.
We booked the rooms from agoda. We knew that there's no lift in the hotel so we double confirmed with the owner on the room type located at the first floor. When we got there, the receptionist said that our rooms were in second floor. We had no way to get the room in first floor because they were fully booked. We tried to argue but she didn't care much, saying that we should book the room with balcony. Don't give us misleading information at first!
Then, the air conditioner in the room was not working. The staffs tried to fix it with the remote control. No technician. They said sorry, you will have to stay one day without aircon until the owner is back (we booked 2 night). We complained to agoda then magically a room appeared and we could switch to another room.

Read moreInitial stay was two days just last week. We enjoyed it so much that we came back for another 7 nights. It's so clean yet so cheap. Great reception staff, always very helpful and only a 1 minute walk to our favourite night time eating place. Refrigerator with kettle and daily bottled water and coffee. Table and chairs. TV and private bathroom. Reception area is fun to be around with a nice array of "areas" to chill in. Leather seats, wide open windows with flowing breeze. All very nice and got to say its one of Krabis hidden gems. Some great street food close by. River is only 3 minutes walk with the central food markets about 4 minutes. Great place to find and we'll use it in the future when we're on vacation from Penang. Ah yeah, the WiFi is the best ever. Work on a platform that requires high mbps and this place covers...
