I recently dined at Viva Italian Pizza in Krabi, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, the food was outstanding. The pizza was delicious, with a perfect crust and fresh, flavorful toppings. It was clear that a lot of care goes into the preparation and ingredients, making for an authentic and satisfying meal.

However, the experience was marred by the chef's attitude. We were traveling with children, who, as kids do, were making some noise and playing. The chef seemed quite irritated by this, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. While I understand that a calm dining atmosphere is important, it's also essential to accommodate families, especially in a tourist destination like Krabi.

A cosy Italian restaurant with great burgers, pastas and sides.

Sides: Caprese Salad was generous; Calamari Fritti portion was not as big but the squid was fresh and the salsa accompanying it was tasty.

Main: Bacon Cheese Burger was one of the best we had at Krabi. Everything went very well together and the melted cheese on the juicy patty was great.

Pastas: Salsiccia e Funghi had nice minced pork sausage / Boscaiola ricotta and spinach ravioli with bacon and mushrooms was very hearty.

However, the carbonara was a bit of a letdown as it wasnt as rich or salty as we had hoped. The sauce was too clumpy and tagliatelle was overcooked. Perhaps a different, thinner pasta choice may be better. The vongole is not the typical white white broth based style and has tomato in its base too.
