Much & Mellow Cafe Krabi Town — Restaurant in Krabi Province

"Much & Mellow" is a highly renowned and popular café in Krabi Province, well-loved by both locals and tourists. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, ranging from European-style options like breakfast sets, egg benedict cruffins, pasta, and hamburgers, to Thai fusion cuisine such as beef fried rice and pad thai. The bakery section is particularly famous, featuring a variety of croissants, including almond croissants, ham and cheese croissants, and chocolate croissants, as well as fruit tarts and coffee. Today, we ordered four items in total: Almond Croissant, Bacon Twists, Pork Belly Egg Benedict Cruffin, and Spicy Picanya Pasta. Overall, the food tastes excellent. Among the items, the standout was the Picanya Pasta - it had a delicious spicy kick that complemented the meat well. The Pork Belly Cruffin was also very tasty; the three-layered pork belly paired perfectly with the cruffin. The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant. While the food prices are relatively high, they are justified by the quality and grade of the cuisine. This is definitely a recommended...

The service was horrible. The staff discriminated against my boyfriend and I, we did not feel welcome. We felt like we were being treated poorly based on how we are dressed and my skin. I am a brown skinned American and my boyfriend is white. They seated us in a tight corner and we tried to get another table once it was open. Once we tried to sit down, the staff told us we could not sit there because another couple was sitting there. This couple entered AFTER us so we were upset.

We knew what they we were doing and we confronted the staff member about it. She said that there is a waitlist for tables and that some people were waiting in their car for a table. This couple was waiting in the same area that we were and they did not come from their car. Another couple just grabbed another table without anyone’s permission. I felt discriminated against because of my brown skin. Don’t come here unless you are are white skinned. They don’t welcome dark skinned people. The staff will stare at you weirdly and not welcome you. Staff at register was nice but...

As I entered the store, no one was behind the counter. When someone approached me, they asked if I wanted to order something to go. I really wanted to sit down and enjoy some coffee in the AC, but for some reason I just agreed and said yes, that's fine.

I attempted to order a Caramel Macchiato Frappe. The server said, caramel salt coffee? No, Caramel Macchiato please. She showed me a menu and I pointed to the Caramel Macchiato. In the photo in the menu, it showed it on ice, I asked if it could be put in a blender instead of just on ice. She said, I could order caramel salt coffee blended but not that one.

I offered to pay extra if they could just toss the caramel macchiato in a blender for a couple of seconds.

She looked at me squarely and just said no.

I had ordered it several times at the Ao Nang much & mellow several times, so I knew it was possible.

I finally just gave up, and was forced to leave much and mellow without any coffee.
