Blue House Beach. — Hotel in Pattaya City

Overall good experience. Across street in front of hotel and you are on the beach. Our room (45) had beautiful ocean view. Small balcony had table & 2 chairs where we could sit and watch local and tourist activity. Had a few mosquitoes usually later in evening and small bathroom window was seized up so could not close and mosquitoes could make way into room. Usually like our A/C set at 22 - 24 but had set at 19 and did not cool room very well. Did not seem to keep up with daytime temperatures. Exceptional location to access Variety of food choices, small bars, one night market 7 min walk and another night market 30 min walk, local bhat bus service runs regularly in front of hotel and laundry services 3 min walk from hotel. Welcoming staff, family friendly hotel. We traveled with three kids under ten years old and soon made friends with the staff and their family. The hotel is a stone's throw from the beach - you can hear the waves at night from the sea view family room. The sea is a little greenish - but the sand is clean and seafood is awesome everywhere.The room rates were very competitive and the location is far away enough from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya, while being on the song-tail circuit - so travelling to the city is no big problem. We recently booked a room at the blue house beach hotel on Jomtien beach. The picture on agoda shows a beautiful sea view room for 700 thai baht. This was suppose to be a 61% discount.||When we arrived at the hotel and went to are room I was shocked. The room was the size of a match box.
