The Pat Hotel — Hotel in Pattaya City

Stayed for 1 night for an event in Chonburi. We knew that the hotel had only recently opened (which can be a risk), so were not very surprised to see some lobby furniture still unwrapped and the (future?) roadside F&B area not yet open. But the building has "good bones", with some sea-facing rooms (with balconies), a passenger lift, a nice & quiet "courtyard" swimming pool, and helpful front desk staff.||We were kindly upgraded from a basic Deluxe to a basic Deluxe room with a part-seaview, which was clean and straightforward for a short-stay, with decent new bedding, minibar, very basic local TV, and little else. A small balcony off the room overlooks the side road and the (limited) open "onsite parking". The lack of a shower curtain in the bathroom is troublesome, as its difficult to wash without getting the toilet/toilet paper and even the vanity wet, on top of a wet bathroom floor. It should be rectified somehow. The room entry card is a good electronic lock system (you must pay a returnable deposit for the card), but there is no safety box in the room. For a longer stay the lack of basic tea-making items, glasses etc could be an issue, but for a short stay (and with a 24-hour Family Mart opposite), we had no such concerns. We didn't have any breakfast in the hotel (not sure if there was one offered....).||The location is on a busy part of the Jomtien strip, so surroundings are a mixture of other (budget) hotels, restaurants, bars, etc etc. We imagine that the sea view from higher (and higher-grade) rooms to the street front would be pretty good, especially with their large balconies. There was quite a bite of traffic noise from the side street though - it appears to be a popular short-cut for noisy motorbike riders. But for surrounding convenience and direct beach access, we thought the location was good.||As a new hotel, we thought the quality of the room and the location of The Pat was good. There are probably cheaper rooms available in Jomtien, but considering the cleanliness of the hotel & room, coupled with the beach road location, we thought the value for money was reasonable (without being amazing). We wish the management "Good Luck" with the new hotel, and we'd consider staying there again for a short/weekend...

My friend and I viewed this hotel 1 week before moving in and we were promised that everything would be finish for the time we would be booking in.On arrival the outside bar area had not been finished and opened, the reception furniture still had its plastic covering on, No breakfast facility. No safe deposit boxes. The hotel is a new family run business and clearly have no idea how to run it, it was clean and tidy, with pleasant staff.No issues there, My room 302 was 1200 bht a night was a little expensive maybe 800-1000 b p n.The room had NO safe No hand towels, No kettle or tea/coffee making facility, although one was offered when we were leaving,,No hot water tap in the bathroom sink,,No shower divider, so all the shower water sprayed into/onto the toilet, toilet rolls, floor, making it a very slippy and unsafe area. An addition of a small hand rail, or seat would be very beneficial. Thinking about older people who are unsteady on their feet, as there are no baths.||( my friend moved to the opposite hotel same price but a little better, swimming pool on roof,tea/kettle, large fridge, bathroom had a small divider.) ||When my friend moved I moved into is room for the view, and when I asked about moving back into the cheaper room, I was told "there were none available, all booked up" BOLLOCKS, hardly anyone was in, just wanted to keep me there in the more expensive room, and to be honest, there is not much difference for the money.This and other hotels need to think about little extras,, they mean a lot,we all like a cup of tea or coffee in a morning, does not cost a lot. Certainly NOT worth the money. The dearer room was priced at 15-1600 bht and...

ที่จริง ถ้าประเมินดาวติดลบได้จะทำ เพราะช่วงปีใหม่ที่ผ่านมาได้ไปพักที่โรงแรมแห่งนี้ พอไปถึงไม่มีที่จอดรถลองรับลูกค้า ก็พอจะรับได้ เพราะเป็นช่วงเทศกาล รปภ.ก็ยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใสดี พยายามหาที่จอดรถให้ แต่พอลงจากรถมาเช็คอินที่ กับพนักงานผู้หญิงวัยกลางคนซึ่งไม่ได้แต่งชุดพนักงานต้อนรับของโรงแรมมาคอยให้บริการ ใช้คำว่า "ให้บริการ" ยังไม่ได้เลย เพราะใช้กริยามารยาทและท่าทางที่ไม่สุภาพกับลูกค้า ทั้งๆ ที่ทางผมจองและจ่ายค่าที่พักผ่าน Agoda มา แต่กับโดยปฏิเสธว่า "ไม่ได้ให้บริการจองผ่าน Agoda" ทั้งๆ ที่ได้คอนเฟิร์มผ่านทางโทรศัพท์แล้วว่าจะมาเข้าพักจริงกับพนักงานของทางโรงแรม ซึ้งตามปกติแล้ว สำหรับลูกค้าที่จองมาล่วงหน้าทางโรงแรมจะมีรายชื่อลูกค้าผู้ที่เข้าในมือ แล้วต้องสอบถามชื่อของลูกค้า หรือรหัสในการจองห้องพักกับทางลูกค้า แทนที่จะมาปฏิเสธการจองทันที ที่ยิ่งไปกว่านั้นทางผมก็แจ้งล่วงหน้าแล้วว่าจะเข้าพักกี่ท่าน แล้วยินดีที่จะจ่ายค่า Extrabed แต่กลับถูกตอบกลับว่า " ได้ค่ะ แต่ไม่มีอะไรให้เลยนะค่ะ รับได้รึเปล่า" แต่ด้วยน้ำเสียที่ไม่เต็มใจจะให้บริการ เนื่องด้วยเวลานั้นพระอาทิตย์กำลังจะตกก็เลยสภาวะจำใจยอด แต่ก็ย้ำแล้วว่าขอหมอนกับผ้าเช็ดตัวก็ยังดี แต่ถูกตอบกลับอีกว่า "ขอคิดดูก่อน" ด้วยน้ำเสียงท่าทางที่ไม่พอใจลูกค้า พอพอได้รับ Key Card แล้วก็ยังจะใช้น้ำเสียงใส่อีกว่า "ห้ามระเบิดเตียง ห้ามระเบิดเตียง" ซึ้งทางผมก็สงสัยแล้วถามกลับว่าระเบิดเตียงคืออะไรครับ ไม่เข้าใจ ทางพนักงานหญิงวันกลางคนที่ไม่ได้แต่งเครื่องแบบพนักงานต้อนรับก็ยังจะตอบมาประโยคเดิม ห้ามระเบิดเตียง ห้ามระเบิดเตียง พอหลังจากเข้าไปเก็บของที่ห้องพักแล้ว กำลังเดินออกจากโรงแรม พนักงานผู้หญิงวัยกลางคนท่านเดิมก็เดินเดินมาเรียกว่า ห้ามนำอาหารภายนอกโรงแรมมารับประทานนะค่ะ ด้วยน้ำเสียงเดิมที่ไม่เต็มใจแล้วสั่งลูกค้า ผมเองก็ไม่ชอบใจในการบริการตั้งแต่เข้ามาแล้ว เนื่องจากผมทำงานสายโรงแรมมาก่อน ไม่เคยเจอพนักงานคนไหนให้บริการลูกค้าแย่ได้เท่าพนักงานผุ้หญิงวัยกลางคนที่ไม่สวมใส่เครื่องแบบพนักงานท่านนี้มาก่อน ผมก็เลยแอบไปสอบถามพนักงานท่านอื่นก็ได้ความว่า พนักงานผุ้หญิงวัยกลางคนที่ไม่สวมใส่เครื่องแบบพนักงานท่านนี้ เป็น GM ของทางโรงแรมนี้ ซึ่งผมก้ตกใจว่าเป็นได้หรือว่าสามารถเป้นได้ถึงตำแหน่งนี้เลย ทั้งๆ ที่ทางผมนึกว่าเป็นแค่ H/K Manager แต่ที่จะเป็น F/O Manager เนื่องด้วยเป็นพนักงานที่จุกจิกจู้จี้ลูกค้าเรื่องความสะอาดกับลูกค้าเป็นอย่างมากและไม่มี Service mind เลยแม้แต่น้อง พอสอบถามไปยังลูกค้าต่างชาติท่านอื่นก็เป็นไปในทำนองเดียวกัน ว่าไม่มีมารยาทกับลูกค้าเลยสุดท้ายนี้ หากท่านผุ้อ่านผุ้ใดกำลังมองหาที่พักที่หาดจอดเทียน ผมขอแนะนำโรงแรมอื่น เพราะโรงแรมนี้มีดีแค่ใหม่และติดกับหาดเท่านั้น สำหรับผุ้ต้องการความสงบขณะเข้าพัก ห้องพักที่นี้ไม่สามารถให้บริการได้ท่านได้ เพราะขนาดเสียงสัญญาณลิฟต์เปิด-ปิด ยังดังเข้ามาในห้องพักได้ทุกครั้ง ราคาค่าห้องพักก็ไม่ได้ถูก ไม่รวมค่าอาหารเช้า Extrabed คิด 600 บาท ไม่มีเตียง ไม่มีหมอน ไม่มีชุดอาบน้ำให้ ไม่มีอาหารเช้าให้ ไม่มีอะไรเลย ที่จอดรถก็น้อยจอดได้แค่ไม่ถึง 10 คันข้างโรงแรม สรุปว่าเป็นโรงแรมที่มี GM...
