Rivana Boutique by Sandara Pattaya — Hotel in Pattaya City

I have stayed at Rivana Boutique for one week and have enjoyed it very much. The house lady Penny was very heartful and tried to make my stay as good as possible.||As there was only one room available on my arrival, I agreed to take one of the smaller rooms. After 2 nights, a bigger room became available and I could change without extra cost.||The rooms (and bathrooms) were very clean. Cleaning service and fresh towels were provided every day.||Also worth mentioning is that the location is very quiet and still close to where all the fun is happening: 10 minutes walk to the CentralFestival shopping center, 10 minutes walking to the beach and 10 minutes to Walking street by baht bus. Baht buses pass by at the close by street Soi Buakhao at least every 5 minutes.||There was a laundry service next door and also worth mentioning is the (1 minute away) restaurant Steak & Co, where you will find an excellent steak at very economic prices during the "early bird specials" (every day from 1 till 5 pm)||||At the end of my stay in Pattaya, I had a flight in the evening. I checked out in the morning and was very happy to have been offered to use the accommodation (internet, shower) at the ground flour. Worse ever experience i have ever got. Very rude staff and never trust their lockers. 500$ were stollen from the locker and when asked to see CCTV footage for who entered my room. The boss started giving me settlement options of 300$. First they try to penalise u by various clauses! Give 300 baht for lady and if u don’t inform 1000 baht penalty. Its like when u check in u are scared with the penalty system not welcomed! Then they have code plus key locker and i took the settlement offer as had to leave but the way the lady owner/manager was behaving when i informed about loss of money from my locker! It seems she herself is the culprit. First she showed me “hotel is not responsible” written in T&C. But i asked to just view the CCTV and she became defensive. When i threatened to go to Police i was given the settlement option by making me sign some receipt saying she will claim in insurance(theft of guests money isn’t insured though). Forget about reviewing. I would suggest to not even go in this night...
