I really loved the place! It is SSOOOOOO clean! I wanted to stay longer. It is near 7 Eleven (which is common in Thailand.😀😄) It is also ear the airport. One guest told me he walked from the airport to the hostel, and I wish I did the same. Haha. I took the bus which was near the domestic departure area. It cost 100 baht. Anyway, I walked from the hostel to Nai Yang Beach and Sirinat National Park to get a short glimpse of the beach! I really loved it. Here are some suggestions I'd like to make:1) Make the signage outside bigger especially for those who'll be arriving at night. I arrived at 7pm and struggled to find on Google Maps where the hostel was. It took me 15 minutes to walk back and forth before I saw I was standing in front of it! Lol. It's beside Wyndham Royal Lee Phuket.2) The bar was closed on the night I stayed, so that's a good thing. Maybe do something about the loud music just in case, so that guests will have a good sleep especially those who have an early flight/travel schedule.3) I couldn't find a female dorm and male dorm option, so I assume all rooms are mixed dorms for men and women. I would suggest working on having a female dorm and a male dorm separately. I was a bit nervous at first when it was only me and a guy in the room, then luckily another guy arrived. I was about to book a nearby hotel for 350 baht because I wasn't comfortable and would've been unable to sleep had the second male guest not arrived.Other than those, this hostel is PERFECT!nice and welcoming staffshower with shampoo and soap (which I never experienced in my former hostel stays in Malaysia and Laos)clean toilets with tissuecabinet with towel and key (I had to pay for my towel use in Laos)locker with keyreally nice living room with free water and tissue (Again, never experienced this in other hostels.)Oh I still have so many good things to say about the place! I'll definitely come back to enjoy the beach more. Thank you so much!...
Read moreThe front desk woman was very curt and unfriendly. I then wanted to leave and get a refund but she refused. She was adamant that I am not allowed to wear slippers indoors, nor bring my shoes and put in my locker. Do not enjoy walking without footwear at all. No mention on the booking site under rules. This is strange because the girl next to me puts her sneakers on the floor and then into her locker. Her slippers are on the floor in dorm. The girl in the bed above me has footwear and I told her she is not allowed to walk in footwear. She ignored me. If the lady downstairs sees I wonder if she will shout? The girl in the bed next to me rusted bags for about 35 mins eating chips last night, whilst watching TV shows. In the morning opened the shower door, and the room stank of urine. There is no toilet in there so someone pissed in the shower and left it. Then the music starts from 10.30 pm. Above my head this evening someone was using a pestle and mortar, if not if definitely had the same sound. 11.48pm and it's definitely a pestle and mortar, directly above my head. They don't give a toss. The person above me used so much tea tree oil it's hard to breathe. I don't know if they spilt it, but it stinks. Anyways, it's discriminatory to allow different folks to do...
Read moreThere are both good and bad things about this place.
Pros: The beds were comfortable and had curtains for privacy. There were large closets available for storing luggage. Free water, instant coffee, and powdered creamer were provided. The rooms, toilets, and common areas were always clean. The price and location are honestly quite good.
Downsides: The front desk staff, especially one woman, was unfriendly. It gets noisy at night because there’s a bar operating on the ground floor. You’re not allowed to wear shoes in the dorms and common areas. The maids are a bit loud when cleaning early in the morning. The designated area to leave your shoes before going upstairs smells bad, and it’s right at the entrance to the dorms — so you can't avoid it.
In summary: The hostel offers good value for the price with clean facilities, comfy beds, and a great location. However, the noise, smell, and some staff behavior may affect your overall comfort. It's a decent option if you’re not too sensitive to these...
