Extremely poor management and service for this new hotel. The management committed the ultimate hospitality sin, preferring greed of money over customer service, and did it in an unbelievably incompetent way. I has a 2 nights reservation made on booking.com, and upon my arrival told the manager that I would like to extend my stay for a total of 5 nights. This was confirmed, using the promotional rate they had at the time (NOV 2024). The funny part was that they asked me to book directly and not via booking.com, and as good will, I agreed despite of the fact that paying them directly was a little more expensive that on booking.com. On my second night, they told me that they made a mistake, and they sold the room category that I was at, and if I want to stay, I will have to pay more than double. They admitted it was their mistake, they admitted that they are NOT sold out, and still instead of simply upgrading me or the other client, they made me either pay more than double or leave. If nothing else, only this justifies avoiding this place like the plague. I liked the location, but it is definitely not for everyone. The location on Google map and booking.com is wrong. The hotel in in the middle of a narrow street (no traffic access) of a busy market, which is great during the day and dark and abandoned after 8PM. You will have to walk a few hundred meters, as taxi or even Tuk-Tuk cannot access. Rooms are nice, though on the small side. Unless you pay for the most expensive ones, you will have no view, even if it will indicate "river view". Incompetent staff and management: TV is set on Thai language (try to change it or sign into your Netflix, when it is all in Thai). You get half a roll of toilet paper (no extra), no hand soap, etc. The hotel is still a building site, as they are still in works (they opened before finishing construction), and no way to have a nap or relax during working hours (noise), but this will be over in a couple of months, I do not know what kind of guests they expect, but they make you sit and wait during checkout while they go and check the room (I am 64 years old, traveling alone, and they actually had my luggage with them for storage for a few hours, but still made me wait). Avoid this place - there are many great...

I stayed at this hotel for half a month and had quite an experience—one that made me truly appreciate the staff, especially two front desk employees: Bee and Tarn. Their help wasn’t just about good service—it was about making sure I was safe. Literally.

I have a severe allergy to perfumes and fragrances. I carry an EpiPen at all times because if my condition gets triggered, it can be life-threatening. When I first arrived, I noticed that every room was heavily scented with diffusers. What might be pleasant for others is actually dangerous for me.

On my first day, I explained my situation to “Tarn”. She immediately took action—arranged a room change and even had the air conditioning cleaned. Unfortunately, during the first few days, the rooms still carried lingering scents that had built up over the past few months since the hotel opened. But after multiple discussions and real effort from the staff, the issue was finally resolved, and I could stay comfortably.

“Bee”was another standout. She’s the one of those rare employees who, the second I walked into the lobby and just casually said hi, already knew who I was, remembered my condition, and responded accordingly. He’s proactive, attentive, and incredibly sharp—exactly the kind of staff any hotel should be proud of.

Oh, and just to make things extra fun for them—I was also dealing with severe foot swelling from a fractured leg after a long-haul flight. They noticed and cared about that too.

Because of Bee and Tarn’s thoughtfulness and attention to detail, I’d definitely come back to this hotel. They are both absolute gems, and I’m truly thankful for...

A seamless & luxurious riverfront stay highly recommended!

Our stay in the Riverfront 2 Bedroom at MOWA Bangkok Hotel was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, the experience was smooth and hassle-free; early check-in was accommodated with ease, allowing us to settle in and start enjoying our stay right away.

The room itself was stunning, offering breath-taking river views that made every morning feel magical. The two double/twin beds were exceptionally comfortable, providing the perfect space to unwind after exploring Bangkok. The minimalist yet playful aesthetic of the room added to its charm, creating a welcoming and stylish atmosphere.

Beyond the impeccable accommodations, the hotel’s service was outstanding; staff members were warm, attentive, and always ready to assist. Whether it was recommendations, dining, or simply making sure I had everything I needed, their hospitality truly elevated my experience.

With its prime location, excellent amenities, and thoughtful attention to detail, MOWA Bangkok offers a truly unforgettable stay. If you’re looking for a serene yet vibrant retreat in Bangkok, MOWA is an absolute must. I can't recommend...

Been to Bangkok many times n had always wanted to stay across the river but never ……. finally I did it Stayed 2 nights in early May 2025… based on the reviews good . good choice I made Is in the midst of the WangLang market yet it retains the peace by the river Good view of Chao Prya river from the room. Room immaculate.. Simple — almost feel like IKEA … Lots of food choices in market A little ex compared to boutique hotels but is worth staying here at least once . Will consider staying here again when come Bangkok. In fact esp will bring my mum here . She will love the market … (opportunities to offer alms food to monks in the morning)…. the sight of the river … Few good not - ex restaurants along the river … just be adventurous 20 mins walk to Wat Arun… n also, 20 to the Royal Barge museum .

It is nice and cleaned. The hotel is located in wang lang market which is perfect for those who enjoy shopping. It is also good location for those who come here for doctor visit at sirriraj hospital, it takes only 10mn walking there as well. I will definitely come again.
