I believe these rooms are new or recently renovated. Either way, my room was spotless and exactly as shown in the photos.

The location is excellent and near many eateries (local, foreign, small food stalls, and sit-down restaurants), massage shops, multiple mini markets, and a gym if you don't mind walking 20 minutes to Anytime Fitness. The closest Metro station (Lumphini) is also about a 20-minute walk away.

Daily room cleaning and self-service laundry services are available. The air conditioner, Wi-Fi, and hot water worked well.

The windows are tinted, so although businesses are on the other side of the street, no one can see inside.

The front office can be a little hard to find. Just type "Plu Garden Villa" in your GPS and you'll find the front office easily.

There's no elevator for those with disabilities.

Soi Suan Phlu isn't an overly touristy area, and a nice blend of high-end hotels, restaurants, hipster bars and local markets. If you're looking for a wild and crazy club scene this isn't it; however, it's in walking distance to several popular night life hotspots. It's also walkable to Lumphini & Benchakitti Park(s). Additionally, it's centrally located to all the temples, tourist sights, and within walking distance to the Lumphini BMT (public transporation). 1.4 KM or 15 minutes.
