The Sukhothai Spa — Local services in Thung Maha Mek Subdistrict

Besides dining out, one of my favorite activities is indulging in a nice massage and spa experience. Recently, I discovered a new wellness destination at The Sukhothai Hotel and my intuition immediately told me it would be exceptional.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the elegance of their Thai heritage-inspired design. The tranquil and private atmosphere offered a much needed escape from the chaos of city life, creating a serene retreat I had been longing for.

The spa menu features a variety of treatments for your body from head to toe. I opted for The Sukhothai Signature Massage, a delightful blend of relaxing techniques and gentle stretching, enhanced by the use of organic moringa oil. Typically, I never fall asleep during massages but the therapist’s expert touch lulled me into a peaceful nap almost instantly 😆

The worst spa experience from ignorant of booking staff and management.

Fire evacuation practice can be informed at the time of booking.

Fire alarm took place for the whole first quarter of the spa testament.

Loud noise of discussions among workers or subcontractors after the noise of fire alarms caused the therapist to stop the treatment and went out to suppress the discussion noise TWICE due to two rounds of long discussion noise of two groups of people.

I reported this to spa assistant manager after the treatment. She said she would bring this to discuss with manager/management. That’s all.

Below our expectations on the standard in terms of the massage skill for the price we paid comparing with other 5 star hotel spa masseur. The pressure is not consistent, even hurt some part of my body. I am a season person who visit spa in different part of the world every other week. The masseur that service me is busy in her own thoughts that the flow is inconsistent. If i am an amature, perhaps i can be tricked. Such refine details are overlook in a supposedly high standard spa. Rather dissapointed and would definately not recommend friends unless got...
