I want to start off by saying I’ve never been the type of person to want to stay on holiday. I’ve always missed home after day 3, but leaving this hotel brought genuine tears to my eyes.||The atmosphere is absolutely insane. We were greeted by staff already waiting to take our luggage and sit us down in the lobby, while the staff were checking us in we were offered cold drinks and very quickly made comfortable. I have never experienced such beautiful manners in an all-inclusive hotel.||All of the bars are super organised and quick to serve, there’s also a 24-hour express bar which serves food and drinks all night, so if your return flight is past 3am you’re guaranteed a meal before departure.||The rooms are spacious and cleaned thoroughly. Cleaning days solely depend on when you request it. Sometimes the hard-working house-keepers leave behind a cute design layered with flowers made with bed throws and towels, I find this to be an adorable act of effort.|The mattresses and pillows are tough, though not at all does this ruin the experience of this extraordinary hotel.||The main restaurant has plenty option during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Whether you’re a picky eater or not, there’s such a variety that anyone can find something suitable for themselves. The kitchens are clean and the staff is extremely hard working. Never have i ever seen hotel staff filling cups on the guest’s behalf, but in One Resort Premium this is guaranteed. Utensils are already layed out on the tables and swapped out between each guest, unlike most all-inclusives where you have to grab utensils and drinks independently.||We booked with the exclusive Brazillian restaurant and enjoyed a few meals there. You get a menu with every meal listed and the waiters bring them out dish by dish. On every table lays a rock, a green dot on one side and a red on the other. When you feel full and no longer wish for further meals, you simply turn the rock over to the red side to signal time for desert.||There are 2 main pools in use, both are quite shallow. The bigger one is by the express bar and it’s available for everybody, while the smaller one overlooks the private beach and is strictly for over 16s. It also shares space with the beach bar.||I’d like to specifically praise the following staff:|Ilyess|Moustafa|Ezy||Ilyess was an absolutely incredible bartender and waiter our entire stay. He memorised our orders on day 2 out of 7 and the moment he saw us coming he wasted no time making up our usual drinks, every hour of every day. |Moustafa is an excellent member of the entertainment team. His confidence is loud and his energy can light up a crowd in an instant, not to mention his brilliant dance moves.|Ezy is also a fantastic entertainer. Super outgoing and easy to have a conversation with regardless of any language barriers. He makes every individual feel included and welcome which is crucial for any hotel entertainment staff. ||There are plenty of activities to engage in during your stay such as tour trips to the main city and ruins, quadbiking, horse and camel riding, jet-skiing, parasailing and plenty more outside of organised activities. There is a club 2 minutes away from the hotel. |There is plenty of life in the sea for people to see underwater too, highly recommend to get some goggles and go for a deep swim as the ocean is always calm with zero waves. ||I have never been so satisfied on holiday as I have here. I will definitely be coming back and this is 100% becoming a main destination for sole relaxation and fun. Thank you One Resort and Tunisia for changing my entire outlook on holidays...
Read moreI came here with exceptionally low expectations, my husband had booked it as a one night getaway whilst staying with family, after booking ,with a very leaden heart I read the reviews. I had experienced the same thing the year previously, and had an absolutely diabolical experience and had given it the most terrible review, that I have ever given, I can't tell you which hotel that was due to the fairness of Trip advisor, but you can search it under my reviews, it's not that I wish to continue to persecute an establishment, but to show that I am not an easy to please traveller, but I am fair. This Hotel was so far above what I was expecting due to the reviews, I almost wanted to go outside and check the name of where I was staying, how could I have such a completely different experience. Well Iam to be fair going to address the negatives first, many of the staff appear to be going through the motions and have very little enthusiasm for their job, you could say unsurprisingly really,as the hotel in August was massively under occupied possibly one twelfth of there capacity and that would be generous. Everyone knows the problems that Tunisia has had attracting tourism, and although things have eased slightly if you are not a top five star hotel which will always keep it's clientele, or affiliated to a commercial airline who has returned to the country you are really struggling. Things do need updating but there customer base is very limited, and if your not receiving money it's hard to put anything back, but now this begs the absolute question if your struggling and totally aware of that, your staff should be all singing and dancing, they should be providing incredible and attentive service to stand out and make a stay special they are not, there lethargic and in the most disinterested, But then along comes a wonderful young man called Grami Said, a total an absolute professional who made a significant difference to our stay, just a dream of customer service nothing was to much trouble and he worked tirelessly to ensure our stay was happy and as comfortable as possible. Management please use him as an example to retrain others in the art of customer service. I would have given a three star rating if not for him and that makes a large difference. So given the criticism why still a possible three without Grami Said, well the hotel was very clean ( an absolute must for me) I actually check pillows under pillow cases, and mattresses under sheets and protectors. The food was very tasty and more than sufficient, the fish was really fresh, and there was more than enough choice to satisfy, the breakfast was the weakest element, it's more of a continental display, so make sure that you order the omelette made freshly to order, the drinks for an all inclusive are much less restrictive than you find at many hotels, the wine is of a decent standard and the bottles are opened in front of you, and the draught beer, my husband said was really tasty, all served in glasses. The location is fantastic right on to a white sandy beach directly off the very pretty hotel gardens, and totally private to the hotel. My last point is also very relevant, having just returned back from a night at the intercontinental hotel in London Bed and breakfast ,would have paid for a week all inclusive in this hotel so measure your expectations, don't pay these prices and expet five star luxury, but equally give them a try I think that you will be very pleasantly surprised. Note to Mnagement, please, please work on your staff's...
Read moreFirst time me and my other half have been to Tunisia and honestly by the end of the week we really didn't want to leave!|We had a swim up room that was near the beach bar and infinity pool and honestly it was perfect, it wasn't too cold and wasn't too warm it was lovely.|The wifi was really good and had no issues with it and we managed to get our Amazon Echo working on the patio unlike other resorts we have stayed in! Even better the wifi is completely free, no hidden charges.|The staff were amazing, massive shout out to the guy in the sports bar (older gentlemen, forgot to write his name down sorry) he made sure we were looked after from the first day we arrived (14th June).|One thing that surprised me was that tipping was not customary and certainly not expected which again we have experienced at a lot of resorts we have visited, however we were tipping staff because they genuinely deserved it as they work so hard and always smiling.|There are only local brands on offer but this really isn't an issue for us, we're quite seasoned travellers and we have seen a mixture of all inclusive packages.|We had no issues with the food, the buffet we did not struggle and found there was a decent selection.|The 24 hour snack bar was quite the eye-opener as EasyJet did not sell this resort as being 24 hour all-inclusive and was advising that service stopped at midnight. Also big shout out to the manager the night we arrived who personally walked us down to the snack bar and informed us of this as we arrived on a delayed flight and had not eaten. He made sure before checking us in that we had something in our bellies!|We did the Brazilian a-la-carte and honestly we could not fault it, the service was amazing and the quality of the food we didn't see an issue with.|We did the quad biking which we booked in with Coco, who assisted us by even getting in the taxi with us to take us to the nearest ATM just to ensure we were safe. We found the quad biking trip good value for money as most places we have been you get all of 15/20 mins for £40 where as we paid around £70 and we got over an hour in the mountains and it was beautiful.|Overall we were amazed with our stay and we have added to a list to visit again, please be advised that there is not an ATM on site and probably best getting a cab to withdraw cash or changing up at the airport. (this is a rookie error on our part as we have never visited Tunisia).|We will be recommending this resort to friends and family and hope to come back in...
